GP 90HP PDIed at the Stockyard, What tyre to select?

Discussion in 'Tyres & Alloys' started by AerialsInTheSky, Oct 24, 2011.

  1. Hi Guys,

I completed doing a thorough PDI of 2 cars in the stockyard yesterday and am asked to choose one of them. Both cars were good in terms of the PDI and were a July 2011 manufacture. However, one of them had Goodyear tyres on it and the other had Apollo ones. Any advise on which car to choose would be much appreciated.

Choose appolo accelers - they are supposed to be good.

Check the manufacturing date of the tyres. Cannot be older than 2 months than the car. FIAT is supposed to have stopped using Good Year.

My vote also goes out to the Aceleres.

They are on our Linea and are a fine tire for an OE fitment. Much better than the economy GT3.
  5. Go for Appollo. Any day better than the good years.

    New Delhi/Mohali
    Grande Punto 1.3
Apollos a better bet, but more importantly check the manufacturing datr
