The sad part was he was giving a speech on eating the right food for the heart when he developed the pain. What an irony. His life to fame was really a flash.

We have a Rajadhani in Hyderabad too for quite some years now. It only serves Rajasthani Thali (Vegetarian). They offfer the same kind of hospitality as mentioned by you.

They apply tilak before entering their premises.
Get a bowl and make you wash your hands at the table itself, before and after the meal.
Food is served my numerous waiters, one after the other. The food is quite tasty with some sweetness and I like it that way as I have a sweet tooth too.
The price however is Rs.399 (incl of all taxes)

Ramesh, am not a heart specialist :(
I have specialized in the area with maximum number of holes :)
Now, now don't think wild and get it all wrong, that area has only 3!

If you are looking out for some authentic Rajastani Food then Chokhi Dhani resort is a place to have. You can spend a whole evening as well there.

Dai, seems a good place. Never knew about this. Why not have a team fiat meet once here to spend a whole Saturday evening with family. It will be a good drive as well.

Finally went to "Malabar Biryani Centre" in Kodambakkam this afternoon. Picked up a Mutton and Chicken Biryani, was good but I expected a lot more, hence a little disappointed with the taste. Is cheap though.

Last week was at Jacob's again and tried their "Nandu Thokku" and "Jaloor Jawahar Parotta" with meat and it was great. This seems to be THE place to go for South Tamil Nadu food! Brilliant.

If you like to ruin anyone's lunch/dinner, do not fail to take them to 'Nalas Aappa Kadai'. I paid a visit after very long time and wanted to see if they have changed. Yes, they have changed. They have become even worse now. Nothing (Ambiance, service, food) is enjoyable the moment I entered their restaurant. The apt name for the restaurant would be Nala's Aappu Kadai as we received Aappu (punches) from them.

    Overall rating - Zero Stars.

Which branch Ramesh? I have been to the Anna Nagar one few times, and it was above average.
