Perhaps you are the first Doctor I have come across to say the term 'Doctor Business'. To my knowledge, the doctors I know never used the term Business. :)

True Ramesh, they don't tell but they do that way but I do tell and don't do that way.
I said business because the associated medical shop business is a really profitable one and even if a doctor sees the patient for free,he still would take money home.

ENTREE Restaurant at Express Avenue, ground floor.
The best thing I liked about this place is it's restroom! , awesome wash basin,I haven't seen such a beautiful one anywhere else.
Waiters would behave as if they have descended from heaven and would make it appear as if they are doing you a favour by giving you a table.
    Starters are very oily,avoidable.
The main course consists of 2 varieties of biriyani out of which one was ok.
The nan was bland and the umpteen number of side dishes tasted almost the same with too much kashew paste in it.
Dessert section is a disaster, first time I did not like even one.2 flavours of icecream were ok
Rs.650 for a vegetarian buffet was too much
1 out of 5 stars, one star for the wash basin.
    A must avoid

Oh really? This is news. Seems I can think about opening a medical shop near your hospital with a notice board reading '5% discount on price listed at Bala's hospital'. :D

    LOL. Hilarious review. :)

    RAJDHANI at Express Avenue.
At the entrance you are greeted and welcomed with a tilak on the forehead.I don't know how people of other faith would accept a tilak, but why would they venture into a vegetarian restaurant ? :)
Waiters are dressed up in a Rajasthani attire and look like they are all Rajasthanis.Worst thing is that they assumed that am a Rajasthani too and I too acted like one replying with a smile for what ever they spoke in their dialect :)
Buffet is served on the table and all the waiters would be rushing to your table one after the other.
A word of caution, say a big no to ghee, because they pour spoonfuls on every dish served.
poori and sabji wasn't anything special,so where the kadis and pulav. But everything else they served ( I do not even know what they served)were very nice, all of them had a sweet flavour with mango in it and since I have a sweet tooth I liked them and asked for repeated servings, same was the case with dessert, the jilebi was especially good.
It cost Rs.450, was ok for a one time experience.
At the end,at the exit they ask you to beat a kind of drum if you like,I made a heavy sound. :)
    2.5 out of 5 stars
p.s: If you are fair pretend to be a Rajasthani, you know they will all be smiles plastered and you will get a special attention :)

I like Shree Mithai (Spurtank Road) the best for their chaats. They also have a innovative table service which is much better than the self service which Gangotree wants you to do and make you compete for a table.

Jacob's Kitchen is fanatastic for a south indian non vegetarian meal...Their meen sapadu and veetu saapadu is brilliant.

Really sad that Jacob perished one day suddenly at such a young age due to a rare heart disease, I think it was cardiomyopathy.

OT:- What is cardiomyopathy? Are you a heart specialist?

If you wan't budget food, try Hotel Seamount, Mehtha Nagar, Choolaimedu. In my experience, whatever you eat, the bill won't cross Rs.150/person! Hehehe... Food is decent. Best for budget foodies.
