I was never a fan of McDonalds, Pizza Hut, Subway, KFC and so on either here nor in USA. I hate these eatouts.

The Italian food chain in the US
Simply awesome and extremely superb quality food.
Again a one eighth of a Pizza costs 8 usd, but the price doesn't matter.
You wouldn't have had pizzas like here anywhere,at least I haven't.
The spinach pizza I had crusts coevered on both sides, have you seen anything like that before?, was simply yummy,I had 2 portions not minding spending 1000 Rs.
    Highly recommended
If I ever get a chance to visit the US again,I will not forget to visit again.

    SUBWAY in the US.
    Again vegetarians have few options.
For the 8 usd they charge they certainly give a huge sub, just three fourth of which will fill your stomach.
Recommended only if you are very hungry and have no other option.
For strict vegetarians I think it is not recommended since I thought that there was some uncooked egg or maionaisse inside.
Again compared to the Indian Subway the quality was much superior,if you can digest the huge difference in cost too.

I'm from Triplicane. By any chancce are you refering to Kasi Vinayaga Mess? They are definitely very homely and good. Rightly said they are too crowded during lunch hours.

In Deccan plaza, in Royapetah high road, just before the flyover on the left.
600 Rs for a veg buffet.
A very high end ambience and food.
Salads were bad, only one of the starters, cheese kabab was good.
The main course was extremely good. Even the Italian pasta was good.Biriyani was very dry and not good but that was made up by the aromatic pulav.2 of the 4 garvies were good and nan was ok.
Dessert section was huge, cakes and sweets were nice.
Highly recommended for a family dining.

I have dined once in Nala's aapakadai at Spencer
Never will go into one again.
    Not my kind.
Very oily, expensive for what they offer and the quality they provide.
Talking about aapakadai, have you seen Actress Simran's aapakadai at Vadapalani junction?

I have been to their Chromepet and Anna Nagar branches. Food was okay only, if not good.

I sorely miss Idly Vilas, which was off RK Salai.

It's been years since I walked into this crap. No offense to anyone but, I felt the food served here is totally unhygienic.
