Getting steady 18- 20 kmpl in City driving and 23-25 on highways (100kmph) after 6 months of ownership and 16k on the ODO, best was 33.2 kmpl for 200+kms at speeds between 65-70 kmph

@ roadking 18-20 kmpl in bangalore seems to pretty good.

    For my punto

avg i can get only 12-14 kmpl for daily commute from EC - Kormangala - EC ( total of 20km) in peak hour traffic.

Highway drive i do get close to 17-20kmpl @ speeds of 90-130kmph which is fine i guess..

Your highway figures seem to be fine, but city figures are a bit low, you should be able to get 15+ atleast

As per what I have noticed the best mileage could be achieved after 3 hours of continuous usage, the engine starts to respond way way better and throttle requirement becomes minimal so better mileage...

One cant expect much considering the density of peak hour traffic in the above route.

True these days i take atleast 50mins -1 hr reach the destination ( both EC - Kormangala and back). If no traffic i cover this distance in about 10-15mins :(

I did get around 18kmpl avg for an airport drop from EC- Airport - EC between 7 am - 10am on a Saturday. Total distance covered was around 128km. All mileage figs are with full time AC.
