    Hi Guys,
Mine is Punto MJD 76 BHP. In City I got 18 KMPL with 100% AC On. On High ways I get 24 KMPL with 100% AC ON. But if I really try to drive my CAR to achieve maximum mileage, I get 31 KMPL with AC off.

    Cochin -Goa(867 km) : Trip A =18.47 hrs , Avg speed = 46 km/hr, Avg FE = 14.9 kmpl
    Manglore -Goa: Trip B = 403 km, Avg speed = 49 km kmph , Avg FE = 15.2 kmpl

For Goa- Cochin trip the FE was between 15 and 15.6. (I forgot to note it down).

About the traffic: The speed which I try to maintain was 80-100, though in some stretches I crossed 110. The traffic was heavy and gear shifting was frequent overtake long trucks. Autos and private buses in kerala which can block the road any time any where had made my average speed dropped to 1/3 rd of my top speed. I was getting a respectable 17.9 between Cochin-calicut route(trip B) and then it dropped due to heavy traffic. Also there was a protest in Goa by some local groups which made me to travel in 3rd and 4th gear for quite long distance(stop-go-stop-go). Otherwise I think I could have achieved a respectable 17 + figure on a open highway(like NH4).

A small run from office back to home with ACC set to 24 always. Tried hard to gain this figures as my last 1.5 Kms is full of potholes.
