    Help Please..

    Team Members,

need some urgent help, please.Today in daylight I did a PDI again and the below happens:

The earlier mentioned hydrolic of boot got came up from the hinge it is attached,it is not broken. It was the only rusted portion of the boot area.

I did thorough look out and did not see any rust at exterior.
Inside bonet one pipe is little rusted, and one plate looking thing (not big, small one) is rusted.
The portion between disk breaks and allow wheels (cylindrical one) are rusted and look black.

I talked to the dealer and later to the territory manager of FIAT here in Pune.
Dealer is saying these issues will be fixed however for the dis break rust it is as usual.

Territory manager told the hydrolic issue should not be happened and will fix,and he promised a car with completely acceptable position during delivery.

Please let me know what should be taken care.I did not see any rust anywhere outside and near the wheel arch and doors in naked eyes, neither any paint issue.

Disk rust is normal, don't worry.

Other parts, if you decide to take, make sure to in writing, in case any issue happened in future on those parts, Dealer will fix it free of cost.

Check the working of clutch paddle.

As per my observation clutch of few stock petrol fiat cars is hard as compared to MJD.
I had seen clutch paddle of one stock T-jet which was very much hard as compared to my former 75 BHP clocked 25000 km.

Without prejudice of the above it may be due to bad plastic CSC.

BTW congrats for turbo petrol motor. I haven't taken TD of T-jet.
But it may have terrific flying effect after 2000 RPM.

    Help Please!

Dealer is saying they will fix all the issues (since only couple of rust job needs to be cleared),except the disk break one,
That is the last one I got from them.

I am in love with the machine, but knowing other's experience in this thread,I do not know what should I do.
    9Lakk OTR on bet :((

The rusted hinge is due to rain water collecting in the cavity under the boot lid on the upper right and left corners

Rust on core iron parts is normal and you should not be alarmed.
However please confirm that any paint is not chipped off and there is no rust - you can notice small rust regions only in broad daylight and not otherwise. Some regions to check are:
    - regions under the boot lid (top left and right corners)
    - cavities under bonnet and boot
    - edges of boot and bonnet
    - door hinges and areas where doors get locked

Best of luck with your TJet

    Thanks Ravi,Bhai and SppedJet.
@Ravi,I will ask the dealer to get it written.
Do you suggest to do an engine coating and under body coating to be done, which I am planning to ask them free of cost.
@Bhai, I will recheck again, but that did not feel tight/hard to me ..
@SpeedJet, I have found no such rusting in cavities and edges.Did not find any paint issue as well.I need to check the hinges.will do it again.

Thanks again guys...Planning to visit again on Saturday..will keep you posted.
Meanwhile if other gurus and members have anything to update/suggest..Your help is most welcome.

Update: Escalated to Territoriality manager about the Boot Hydrolic..He has asked the dealer to stopped the registration on the same day which it was supposed to have.Toay dealer asked me to check the vehicle..and it was all set except very few rust in the cast iron area.
They have fixed other minor stuff..I have checked the underbody..looks ok.
The only rusted area are the turbo charger's cast iron and some part of axles.Comment please.
All the nuts and bolts are not at all impacted. The service manager Suhas Patil recommended not do any more engine or underbody coating at all.
Ready for the delivery in next week..

i suggest you to do a underbody protection from the dealer as a freebee..usually they do it as a complimentary stuff...and if not i still feel it is worth to pay for it!
(product from Germany called Wurth Stone Guard which is a rust-proof rubber-plastic coating that is sprayed onto your car's underbody which in turn assures you protection from rust corroding your car's underbody)
