As everything here it will take time but this tint business will come into play when you cross state border.
    That's why I removed it

i just saw today in the news that the deadline has again been extended in blr by 3 days.
Also true is the fact that none of the govt cars have their tints removed. The reason quoted for the extension of the deadline is this...
IN blr we have GIM for 3 days so they have to have tints it seems and thus the modification..

    Here is my 2 cents..
IF SC IS SO CLEAR ABOUT ITS RULE HOW CAN THE STATE GOVTS BEND IT?
WHAT IS THIS NONSENSE OF A GLOBAL MEET GOT TO DO WITH TINTS, IF THE DELEGATES GET Z/Z+ SECURITY THEN THEIR CARS CAN HAVE IT OR ELSE NOT.SIMPLE AS THAT
Looks like the only thing is "We the common people of india" are the only ones who have to abide by the rules.

Indica in front of it also has escorting the cops. At least he is safe since traffic police will not stop him since their own vehicle behind indica with same condition. :D
How effective is the FB page. For example if we post a picture of car breaking the rules then they should be able to catch that fellow if reg No is clear. What about the identity of the fellow who post the picture. Will it be hidden?

Finally i was caught by the chennai traffic police today morning at Dr. Nair Road, T.nagar. I had to pay a fine of Rs. 100/- after which i headed straight to a sun film removal shop and removed the film. It was a hard feeling seeing the sun film being removed. Overall i am not happy with this.
