VW is barking from the roof tops about their new website - http://www.innovationsforeveryone.com which got me thinking on why Fiat doesn't do something similar. Think about it, Fiat invented the Common Rail diesel technology that has now become the de-facto diesel engine technology of all manufacturer's and is powering cars from the Nano (expected to) to the S Class. Their petrol engine tech isn't far behind. TJet is well-known but Multiair is expected to do what CRDi or MJD did to diesel technology - there is some talk about Fiat not selling the Multiair patent to a third party as happened in the case of the CRDi. All they have to do is splash the link and create special advertisements to promote that website. Since they will not do that, we can do it for them, as usual Free promotion! Amit, Brillliant stuff you have exposed us to. I enjoyed it. I am sure it will be a while before we get cars with those engines in India. My suggestion to FIAT is that they should provide a couple of cars of Mjd II and Multi air and send it on rotation to various FIAT dealership around the country as test vehicles to experience the technology. It will give a feel of the technological brilliance FIAT have behind them and make the people yearn for it and thus creating a huge demand for the cars with such technologies which will be released in future.
