FNG Outlets

With Fiat almost having almost closed down operations, it is going to get difficult for existing car owners to get spare parts and services. Opening up this thread to discuss on possible FNG Outlets, at least in Major Cities that we could use for parts and service.

 

The 3 cities I visit (Bangalore, Kochi, Trivandrum) all have FASS as well as FNGs. Spares from 99rpm are also available.
I did not face a problem till now.

 

I doubt that there will be a problem for service and spares as long as Mopar service is here.
However, outright availability will be a problem which still is. For outright fixes, one should look for online portals such as 99rpm, etc.

 

I think to get enrolled on to Mopar services, the car cannot be more than 7 years old. Last time when i had checked at Vecto Motors i was told about this. While i was not too convinced about the answer, i did not probe further. If you have availed their services, please throw some light.

 

What you are referring to is the breakdown service by MOPAR. For a small sum, they ensure that you get covered anywhere in India, to get to the nearest FASS. 7 years old (after the original sale) is the limit.
I have enrolled, but did not face a breakdown and hence not availed.
My car is going to be 7 soon, I plan to renew it before that.

 

I believe it is going to be tough for existing owners in future.
I wanted to buy bracket which holds rear bumper. I checked with 2 FASS in Pune and no one had it in stock. Estimated arrival as per them is 2 weeks.
I have been servicing my car with Rider's Choice garage in Rahatani, Pune. They seem pretty genuine to me.

 

Mopar service is just FASS renamed to Mopar. Since, there will be no FIAT in future . Under Mopar they will service Jeep as well as FIAT under same roof.

 

Is the rear bracket a frequent selling item? Only then they would keep it in stock.
Otherwise, will have to wait.
Can't say if 2 weeks is too long. Even 99 rpm takes about that time for non-frequent items.
