  1. you fold the back seat and take out from there. its inconvenient but how many times we do that in a month/year?

its right but drive was expressway so got very good economy. i think in city, it should be less by 30%-35% (based on my historical petrol mileage figures).

Fiat Punto CNG Sequentail Kit Installation Video

Guys, i just found this LOVATO CNG Sequential kit installation video on youtube, looks like an ITALIAN Video.

To my surprise it turns out that they are installing it on a FIAT PUNTO..!! :D

does this video means that Fiat engines are better equipped for CNG conversion ??

Very informative video, it starts with Italian language for a few secs but is completely in English thereafter.

    @dilip_dmk,

It looks like there is still some space in your boot, at least small bag can fit in, am I right? I am just guessing from both your and Amit's snaps. Could you please throw some light on whether we still have little space or not at all?

I see that the cylinder used in the boot is smaller than the one used in Amit's car, do we have less capacity cylinders too? I am more concerned about the boot space here. Does anyone know?

Yes , I do have little space for shopping bags . My tank is little towards the back seat .
Normallly , its centered , which allows to keep the spare wheel in the well , by folding the rear seats .

For hatchbacks , tanks available are 12 and 14kg .
12kg tank is longer and thinner ; and 14kg is shorter and fatter . So , due to ltd. space in Punto's boot , due to large wheel arches , 14kg fits best .

The toroidal tanks [fitting in spare wheel well] are only for LPG ....
  8. i haven't seen these small cylinders in any shop/car.

dilip : whts the capacity of your tank?

That's a nice video, and those hose clamps used in the video are THE hose clamps.

@Dilip 22ji, the install looks clean and professional. Killer. :p
Have you thought of a heat reflecting tape on the K&N intake piping? So that it doesn't soak up the heat from the engine bay.

    Gurjinder.
