@shah - the behavior is not because of your friend testing the brakes. It could be due to some dust or break pad issue as the car was standing for almost a year before being bought

try to push TASS for replacement during first service

@cAshier - gas leak is due to o- ring issue found in some 2011 lineas

 

point 5 in not an issue. I think it is always better to avoid continuous pressing of B pedal to avoid pads getting overheated. An overheated pads can change the texture of the materiel used. Unless there is some sequel or vibration there is nothing to worry.

Being away from all communications, I could not respond to my favourite TFI site for past two months.
Any way, the first free service of my Tjet, "SnowLeopard" was conducted last weak and took it for a ride next day to Pahalgam. The acceleration and the distance-covering-time is awsome, even the drivers in opposite direction generally miscalculate my "reaching-time"..... really it leaps..!

I want to add a post to this thread, kindly bear with me to keep it unattended for so long.
Here, I've a good information to share, which I think must not be experienced by any of the T-jet owners.
Today morning, when I wanted to start the car, it showed the temperature scale as -1 and displayed the caption " Possible Ice on Road ".
WOW, I liked it so much that it is telling me to be careful while driving in sub-zero climatic conditions.
You know, two times I suffered mild collisions while driving my Palio in the past, it was only the month of December then. Actually, once a scooter slipped on ice and damaged my Palio's bumper completely. Other time, next year while being stationary on road, a truck on my right side slipped side-ways to press my Palio's right side rear door and
c-piller.
So, I find the signal "Possible Ice on Road" very useful to take preventive measures in advance, at least bear in mind the possible ice on road.
This is very European-class of motoring and features of a car. This signal is actually given when temp-scale reaches 2 degrees.

My Linea too displayed the same warning at Kunzam Pass, Himachal Pradesh at -1 deg C. That was the first time that my Linea drove on the sub-zero condition.

Nice to see the update from you Dr Shah sahab. Yes, these messages are rare at other places in India. However, this time winters have set in early in NCR. Who knows we may see this message this season...
