Finally Avventura Arrived

Since last one week, I was calling Jay Vijay FASS Pune for appointment for 1500 0 km servicing, they were saying that they would call back but nothing was happening. Finally called up FCA, & got appointment.
Issues :
1) driver seat height adjustment not getting retained at desired height.
2) rear 40%(right side) seat folding hinge is loose.
It seems something is broken there,
leading to misalignment of height of backrests .

What the HELL, I wished I had a Licensed GUN, I would hunt this guy and shoot him right in middle of his forehead.

Idiot not just ruined a beauty but also let it rott on side of the Road without any dignity. Curses on that guy(s).

 

@Anup I don't think the vehicle is abandoned. Atleast at Mapro, Pachgani similar vehicle is kept and it runs, have seen it running for couple of times. Its kept there to attract children and nowadays adults also who are very keen on taking a selfie or a pic for social network update (NOM). Well I second your comment that the beauty of the car is messed up with by Mapro folks.

 

Holy cow, what have they done to the Palio? Converted into a strawberry graffiti. Sad to see the horrific painting done, atleast they could have done the painting in a dignified manner.

 

I saw this car, it looks nice.Its up to the car owner what he has to do.Initially I thought band Baja gaadi.

 

It's kept at road side to grab attention of on going people towards the Mapro eatery & sales counter located there, if you zoom the pic you can see it on LHS of the Palio.
Mefeels, we should appreciate the owner as rather than selling his car in scrap he has preffered to preserve it at his level best. Personally I hated the way he has got it painted, I MO, strawberries could have been painted in aesthetical way.

At his Panchgani campus, he has got a UNO modified & preserved in similar way.

 

@mangeshtendulkar & @Tornado not to make any personal comments on your view and I respect your opinion, but I still own a Palio ,it's a lot easier to make such comments if you don't own the car which has been un-dignified by some one doing IMO a Stupid Mod.
I am not quite sure but I feel current Palio/Sinea owner would agree to where I am headed with the thought.
Anyway no real offence to anyone(again!) and please may I request the members not to discuss further on this topic.

Dont feel bad man,can understand your feelings,love against your palio.i dont think its that bad.i have seen the car with my eyes.The surrounding across this restau is awesome with greenary/mountains and the car comes out outstanding given the red color,this comes across the famous kambhatgi ghat on NH4.May be after seeing personally your views might change and thats the reson why @Tornado have clicked it with his Avvy.

 

Come on man, it's not what you call "Love"it's simple, you wouldn't like your looking car to be dressed up like a clown and put on a display and people make fun about it, I am sure we are in the forum because we all have well maintained cars and spend lot of money by doing, you wouldn't like people to mock at you for some one, If I have found it Offensive and I suppose as I've said earlier it's not just the car but also opinions of guys is seriously not helping the cause, anyway it is a forum so please carry on with the discussion.

 

@Anup dear, it's a scrap car, and the owners of Mapro restaurant has tried to preserve it rather than selling it off at scrap shop and his love for his cars should be appreciated .My daughter insisted on a photo session with the palio pickup. You have misunderstood the owner.
How many of we fiat lovers preserve our cars rather than selling them off? Regarding the strawberries painted on the car, Mapro is a business dependent on strawberries grown at their farms at Mahabaleshwar,They are best manufacturer of strawberry jam, jellies etc. I wish TFI plans a meet at Mahabaleshwar, I am sure you will love lip smacking sandwiches, pizzas, hot chocolate manufactured in front of customers at the Mapro garden.

AAnyways, I got first 15 kkm servicing of my Avventura done at Jay Vijay. FASS.
9:30 to 5 pm today. Overall satisfied for servicing, total bill 7482 INR , but both issues mentioned in my earlier post are unresolved as spares are not available
1)with FCA at present ,for the seat height adjustment mechanism.
2)with Jay Vijay FASS, for the broken & missing element of the rear seat folding hinge.
However, they said, they will arrange them soon.
