He said OE fog lamps reflectors might not withstand the heat also light quality might suffer. Yes I put Philips xenon HID in Hella case.

Since 3 nights, I drove and checked the annoyance to the eyes of upcoming pedestrians & two wheeler riders in city, they were not making any faces, also found a police controlling traffic facing the light of my car(fog lamps on +lower beam adjusted at position1& 2 ) in a chouk was comfortable.

There was a rattle heard from the roof whenever a bicycle is mounted on the rack f55b64a7be22ac041a273af9df3341e9.jpg d5adf4c841e494663ff4f16fab427d26.jpg , and I am suspecting that I could be from the clips which hold the bicycle stand with the cross bars and need to add some rubber packing in between them.

    Received a call from FCA.
Asked me about functioning of the car. I said its fine.
They asked if there is any problem?
    I told,
    1) The keys of the cross bars on which bicycle stand is mounted are not yet handed over to me by the dealer. (I forgot to suggest them to remove the Fiat Caffè from SKY moto dealer and hand it over to some other dealer like Jay Vijay or Pandits.)

    2) ICE starts playing on USB media player mode without any command from me whenever I am listening to music on AUX mode.

3)Two days back, the driver seat's height adjustment lever got broken while pulling it up.
They said, "they would call me within 24 hrs".

    Update :
Lovventura is heading towards Maharashtra, coast line, offcourse, passing through Sayhadri ranges to visit few beaches there.

@TFIans, is there any beach in Sindhudurg district where it is possible to take the car on beach sand for drive & photo session?

Got reply from FCA, they arranged a conference call with the fellow from SKY MOTO (Nikil) who conducted PDI of my car @purchase.
I told him that I am out of station.
He said, "whenever you come back to Pune & bring the car either to JAY Vijay or sky moto, call me, I will come & address the issue."

Today, I got one more call from FCA, they asked if I am back to Pune as Nikhil is eager to address the issues.

I asked them if this Nikhil is FCA employee or Sky moto showroom.?

They said, he is of SKY moto showroom.

I am surprised & happy to see FCA making an employee of one showroom available to other showroom 's FASS as per custemer' s convenience.

I told them that I would visit Jay Vijay FASS on may, 13.

I am back home from trip to konkan via Sahyadri Ghats a total journey of over 1000km.

Yesterday, it was 12 hour journey back home, I drove alone. Today, while going to work place, I felt equally fresh and comfortable in the driver's seat. I was rather expecting some tiredness.

Throughout my journey on NH4, Ghats and konkan villages, I enjoyed the driving due to the chilling AC (My car doesn't have sunfilms, isuspension & precision of the steering wheel.
I overtook all the vehicles which were travelling ahead of me, and didn't allowed any one to overtake me barring a POLO TDI , I managed to overtake it twice especially when speeds were such that RPM needle was within turbo range but finally the Polo guy must have got annoyed as I was only one to overtake him on the 70 km stretch of highway, Finally I felt that pickup & torque at higher RPMs (above turbo range) must be better in Polo than Avventura.
I somehow, explained my wife that it is the tall stance of the Avventura which faces more resistance from air as compared to Polo's squatted stance and hence he is easily overtaking the Avventura and Avventura seems to be struggling to overtake Polo at high RPMS.

@Tornado Sir, I see from your posts in this forum that your options before you bought Avventura were Linea TJet and Avventura. I am facing a similar confusion now. Can you please tell me what made you to tilt your decision towards Avventura?

@Whencut86, T jet was kept aside for simple reason that my monthly running is more than 2000 km which doesn't justify a petrol car economically. Also most of my running is on state highways & highways & bad roads. If my running was lesser than 1500 km & if it was more in city than on highways, I would have gone for T jet.

And then I was in dilemma of Linea MJD vs Avventura MJD.

Really, difficult decision it was, as Indian family never says no to space, and we were used to boot space of Manza, apart from usual luggage we use to bring mango boxes, fish boxes etc from the picnic spots we use to visit. Also, we use to bring grain bags, cane, vegetables from my village. Also my wife was nursing mom in those days, so apart from boot space she use to carry bags for special utensils, stove, baby's clothes etc with her on the rear seat. so while choosing Manza, I chose it for my wife. But Manza was king of rear comfort & was not a car which can not be labelled as' fun to drive '. I missed that factor for 3 years
At the time of choosing a car this time, I came to know that there is only one car which can be labelled as " fun to drive +king of rear comfort" in this budget and that was Linea MJD or T jet (but T jet rejected on the basis of monthly running).

Now, dilemma was Linea or Avventura, here fellow TFIan IIRC, @mangeshtendulkar , a T jet owner, took Linea MJD & Avventura MJD TDs back to back and endorsed my feeling that Avventura is marginally more fun to drive than Linea. Still decision was difficult for me as after discounts, Linea Emotion was costing me Rs 9.58L,just 20 k more than Avventura.
With this, I told my wife that I have sacrificed "fun to drive factor" since last 6 to 7 years (Indigo followed by Manza) for her comfort. So this time , she needs to sacrifice a bit. And she obliged after knowing the fact that we have an opportunity to purchase one more car Linea or Terrano or Fiesta after a year or so. Also, there were & are rumours about Linea 1.5 L coming up.
    So finally, I took Avventura.

But, now whenever we are on long trips or at my village we do miss the boot space but at the same time, as a after thought I feel, had I not bought the Avventura, I would have exhausted my salivary glands drooling every time I come across an Avventura.

I hope, I haven't added to your confusion. My advice is straight forward and depends on two things
1)boot space :think of places you visit eg air ports, picnic spots, and how much luggage you need to carry? If compromise is little bit difficult, go for Linea.
    2) See how important is the rear comfort?
If occupants sitting on rear seat are tall or old age(age related arthritic joints need more leg room to keep the legs stretched or VIP persons like parents and if you need to carry 3 occupants on rear seat, then go for Linea.
If only 2or 2&1/2 persons are going to occupy the rear seat and, or if the rear seat occupants are tall and if front occupants can manage with their seats pulled forward moderately, you can go for Avventura.

To put my decision mathematically, my dilemma was, Linea MJD (fun to drive¹ + rear comfort ²) vs Avventura MJD (Fun to drive² + rear comfort ¹)
    And finally later won.

To put Linea T jet as per above equation, I will put it as follows, (fun to drive² + rear comfort²),provided fuel budget is not a constraint.

@Whencut86, so from my POV, your dilemma is,
T jet Linea (fun to drive² +rear comfort²)vs Avventura MJD (fun to drive ²+rear comfort¹).
Now, it shows, the rear comfort winner is Linea, so does it mean AFA, 'fun to drive 'factor is concerned, both are equal?
My answer is' yes' but with some difference.
T jet is more fun to drive in first, second and third gears(these gears are required more in city limits as compared to outside city limits) as compared to MJD.
While MJD is more fun to drive in in third, fourth and fifth gears (these gears are used more on open streches of the roads, which are often found outside city limits) as compared to T jet.

We stayed at a resort at Deobag Sangam, place where sweet water of River Karli unites Arabic sea. The resort is located between the river (on the east) & sea(on the west). One can see both the river & sea simultaneously from the terrace.
Posting some pics of River Karli and later on the Deobag beach
