I actually don't know in which part of the country you are located, but let me tell you, there are several places in India where there is no car showroom for 150 KMs and yet people maintain their car. I can tell you my own story, when I was posted in a mines in ORISSA, I had to travel 160 Km to Jamshedpur for my car servicing and moreover, Bihar roads under the rule of Lalu and Rabri devi was notorious. I had a Maruti 800 at that time. Moreover, Sir, this might give you an oppurtunity of going on an outing with your family and enjoy the whole day shopping there or doing something else.
Also, if you are posted at a remote location and the road conditions are not so good, then you will have a pleasant ride in the Linea or Punto. Both these cars are capable of absorbing the potholes and bad roads better than any other cars in this range.

FIAT's service network is far wider than GM/FORD any corner any day in India.
Vehicles dynamics/looks/ride/control/technology/value for money everything is top notch & simply best the competitors.
    Anything else?

To add another point to what ENKI has said, Fiat has the longest service interval for its car. Service every 15k kms or One year.

Tata network is as good as Hyundai. For car there is only one brand that one can choose blindly is Fiat
    1. Reasonably priced
    2. Best product in terms of safety, handling, style
    3. Fiat cars were always ahead in terms of advanced features in the past. Present case is not different. Punto and Linea are always ahead in terms of features
    4. In terms of drive quality there is anything exist to compare in their class.

@nesamani : C/Care does not have any information. If you really want to have a FIAT car and your are worried about the service of your car, I will suggest, you take some time out and mail your position and all your concerns to Mr. Mangesh Kodalkar, Customer Service head at FIAT India. His mail address is available in this forum in the "Contacts". His phone No. is +91 2138 672764. Get your concers addressed from some authentic sources and then make your own wise decision.

I think you must go with the Fiesta considering the distance involved in FIAT. Fiesta is also a good car. no doubts.

If you got be a Fiat owner then, you should be prepared to sacrifice few things... But owning a Fiat car is worth the sacrifice... Fiesta is a good car, but I was not happy with the handling... But, again it depends on your style of driving, if you want to take a corner in high speeds, then I don't think that Fiesta can handle it....

Fiesta classic is a good handler. No doubt about that. In fact, it is also one of the driver's delight.
