Really i dont know how you came to that conclusion, but now that you have, I have a small suggestion.
"if you remove that 'Just kidding' phrase then I would be the happiest ;-)

    +1

Also if you can check with FIAT and see if there are any chances of them opening a showroom close to you're place then you could wait it out(if you can).
Fiat is really a wonderful company , I'm really stressing on it...
Apart from the niggles(which is reducing) fiat cars are genuinely great, with a certain character that you will not find in many cars on indian roads.

Fiat Grande Punto. You will be surprised how under rated it really is.

Hi all, I have talked with the Fiat ccare. They told me that there is no showroom & no idea about near future for my city.
I have suggested them that, Tata showroom & service is near my home. FIAT can do tie up, so that only service can be provided at this TATA showroom.
But CCare person has no reply for my idea.
I m ready to buy from the city at 150 km far, but visiting that city(300 km) for every service and for any problem, i feel not good.

Hi Manilruben , are u talking about fiesta classic petrol...? if 15 & 20 means very good. Normally people say that ford is best in diesel & bad in petrol cars. Is it??

Also i will own my car for next 10 years. My running is not much. so petrol. In long horizon i may need boot space, so going for Sedan.

I TD'd VERITO,MANZA,DZIRE, ETIOS, FIESTA CLASSIC, PUNTO, AVEO, ACCENT. selected this. Any other suggestions also welcome.

And now that you put the seed in my head , I"m disappointed..

Anyway jokes apart, Dont bank on the fact that there might be a showroom near to you. Simply pickup the fiesta.
Petrol or diesel depends on how much you drive and nothing to worry you can keep a diesel car for 10 years without issues (provided you listen to what the car is telling you about issues its facing.)
Make sure you follow company service schedules and you are good to go.
Diesels these days have come a long way from what they were in the past. Dont worry nothing will happen.

You don't need to visit the service station more than once in 6 months. 300 kms every 6 months is not a lot.

If you cannot go in for the FIAT due to service centre being 300 kms away, go in for the Ford classic LXI. Its a pleasure to drive (although not in the league of Linea TJet) and is the most VFM proposition.

Hi all, Shall i consider Verito G4 play BS4 also with fiesta classic 1.6 Lxi...?
Advantages of Verito G4 play BS4 over fiesta classic 1.6 Lxi :
    1) Same cost
    2) CD player with FM, leather seats, immobilizer, Alloy wheels,

Dis-advantages of verito G4 play BS4 over fiesta classic 1.6 Lxi
1)No steering adjustment -- Is it must...?
    2) Interiors are normal
    3) Taxi image. But will not buy white color.Brand image is lesser.

But i hope Perfomance is same for both. tell me ur views.

Looking at you requirements its all the way Ford Fiesta. Its very good in ride and handling. Dynamically very good car. Only item is Classic model is old model. So have a look at the features it offers. But in given budget and proximity of service station, it THE car for you.

PS: Am extremely happy to see that most of you gave logical suggestion to the member which is a non-Fiat car. It shows maturity of the forum. Who now says that Fiaters are blind Fiat fans?

    Dear Friend,

Here are my two cents on your dilemma.

Fiat (though I am a fanatic) is impractical to buy since the service station would be 300 kms far.

Chevrolet Aveo will soon be replaced by the Chevrolet Sail (mules have been spotted too many times and it has been showcased at recent auto shows). Would you buy a car which will soon be off the market (though the VGIS - Variable Geometry Intake System is lovely in that engine / car)

Lets go through the contenders left as per you

Verito - Derived from the Renault Logan which comes from Renault subsidiary Dacia. This car was originally designed and made with cost saving at the helm. This can be seen from features such as rear quarter glass is substituted by metal and integrated in the C pillar. Most panels on the car are flat as rolled panels are costlier due to the process involved (whether hot rolling or cold rolling).

Ford Fiesta Classic - This car came with fire retardant upholstery, aluminum engine block etc.

In my humble opinion you should the Ford Fiesta makes the best sense.

Ultimately it is your decision. Enjoy the new car. Do ask if you would like to have further detailed comparison.

    Cheers

    Amit
