FIAT UNO SPARES... Ignoring old Customers..

    I am a proud owner of an old 1999 Fiat Uno 1.7D, I suppose that your are aware of the non availability of the spare parts for this car, we fiat Uno fans were so enthusiastic that the return of Fiat in India would help us our issue, but was in vein , Your company neither needs old Fiat customers nor you care for the one you dumped in India earlier, and Now you are behind the new customers… It indeed interesting to read the awesome experience of your new customers (victims) on your teamfiat.co.in<o:p></o:p>

    Why couldn’t you think of giving service support to old vehicles too, at least you could have made the genuine spares available at all the fiat service centers.<o:p></o:p>

    Look at my experience my Uno’s front driver side coils strut coil spring is week, I decided to change it.. Today this the third spring which I removing from the car just in a week time, two of them were after market one, both after fitting the is resting on the strut rubber buffer.. Then one shop a Bangalore sourced a so called original coil spring from some were .. As soon as I fixed it within a day the spring began to compress a rested on the buffer.. Mine is 1.7 diesel car, I think they have sourced me a petrol version’s spring,…<o:p></o:p>
    Whom to ask… Whom to blame…<o:p></o:p>
    At least can you tell us something about the color code on the fiat uno’s coil spring, mine is yellow and white. What if I put different color coded one like green an blue<o:p></o:p>

    :shocked******IF Fiat really whishes to enter into the heart of Indian customer .. the only way is to proudly look after their old products and customers………………<o:p></o:p>
    Just be bold to announce a free check up campaign for the old fiats.. and be bold to offer genuine spares at reduced price… Reducing the price of punto or linea will only affect the Image of your company..:shocked<o:p></o:p>

    Sorry to observed that nobody responded you from 6th Nov. All are busy in discussing about their new generation fiat cars.

    I am also proud ex-owner of great Fiat Uno 1999 FIRE version. I have preserved one rear coil spring.

    am also a proud owner of 1997 fire UNO. parts are easily available at shetty motors, mumbai. they can send you the parts where you want them. heres the number 02223821390. btw hows ur car doing. and what you said is correct fiat is not concerned about their old customers. i wanted to take my uno for the free check up camp as it had low engine oil and needed a nice wash. but the guys at the sc told me that we do not do unos and palio as they create starting problems when engine bay is cleaned (it was just an excuse). i could have forced him to service my uno but i did not.

    I think you should also understand that FIAT is on a new innings for the third time. Uno is pretty old and unless they have a mechanism set up, it will be difficult for them to do anything on service support. At present they are getting stretched on the Palio stile.
    I suggest you contact the after market specialists of FIAT spares and they could get you the FIAT spare from anywhere in the world. Try contacting KAVA automobiles.
    I dont know how many of you remember the way GM just looked the other way on servicing of Daewoo Matiz car when they took over Daewoo of Korea and Matiz customers of India were left high and dry. They simply never provided a single spare. Had they done that then they could have easily got a ready base of customers. Well that's how companies operate and if we understand that well, we can cope better and move on. No offence meant please.
