Although i've not faced issues with AC in Hyderabad except when i had to go for short distances when car was parked without shade, but then it was back when AC ECU update wasn't done.Having said that any change to improve AC even more is always welcome.Looking forward to it.

But why with only petrol cars???
My experiences have been mixed with A/C being exceptional when pollen filters are clean/new.

Great move by Fiat. They have obviously felt that the ACC system in 1.4 is not up to the mark and have taken steps to address the issue. Compare this with celebrated Hyundai where people have complained bitterly about the i20 AC. Double thumbs up to Fiat.

After the pollen filter change I got cold because the AC was sooo cold. I believe this is something specific for the petrol, which I am again confused why?

Just spoke to Fiat official, he confirmed that new device is being tested with good testing results. We are supposed to get calls from Tata-Fiat after Diwali for new part installation.

He also said that be ready to get cooling better than HC. Good excercise by Fiat.

As this new part is being tested as of now, I can say that new cars are coming with same old unit.

Is it for diesel also. Diesel already had good cooling but I surely would not say no to anything better.
