Indian's love chrome FIAT js trying to make use of it.
Although it seems FIAT has botched the design, however, two TFIans who have had the privilege of seeing the facelifted Linea in Turkey in person tell a different story. Both agree that in person it looks much more better than what the photographs can show us. So let's hold our horses.
Disclaimer - I am firmly in the camp which says the design of the Linea should never be tampered with
For a car that was launched in early 2009 and to be facelifted in 2014, change in appearance is a must; with the top varient being more towards power and luxury. Three varients are a must from Fiat:
- Punto 1.4 TJet
- Linea Classic(1.3 MJD)
- Linea 1.6 MJD
alongwith all the existing varients.
One gets use to the interiors and exteriors but its the punch and flair in driving which keeps an enthusiast engaged to the car.
Spotted new variant in Linea while on the way to Nagar. Not sure whether it was "Linea Classic: End of 2013" or "New Linea: Starting 2014".
Here is some photos. (Sorry as it was too sunny for one image)
It looks new Linea, see the new dash and front grill design.
Great scoop. I hope it's just not a FGP test mule.
@Uddhavraj001: Super cool Scoop pics buddy. :up
Thats definitely the NEW Linea to be launched in 2014. Wish its done a bit sooner in the festive season 2013.
So from the pic, it looks like the GC has been reduced?
It is clearly a facelift & not a new model. All body panels are the same. There are some cosmetic changes in the exterior, which I frankly feel has screwed up the drop dead gorgeous looks of the car. Alloys are different, but not any better.
Interior is a different story though - the centre dash looks so much better, but sadly - does not look much improvement on internal storage. Door pads look similar to the existing ones.
Seems to be the same GC, but the alloy wheels design is surely a new one and a cool one.
