    About the ad, my 2 paise. I think message is to position it as a car for yuppies where it will be gladly accepted by the missus too. Look at the background of the couple in ad, shopping at swanky places, and you realize which audience this ad is trying to connect to. This ad might as well make the missus also to ask, ye gaadi kyun nahi li jaye? The throwing of jargon is not going to appeal to ladies as much as it would to guys.

    I think apart from this, Fiat should, no, MUST run a separate campaign solely pointing out uber cool technology of TJet.

    Even i felt this Dumb... They didnt show or point out the USP of the vehicle man..

    Bad bad bad!! All of us know that LINEA is GORGEOUS! Why highlight that again and again?!

    End of the ad it says "The new Linea 114PS T-Jet" :!:

    Who the hell understands what 'PS' is?!! General public at least know bhp.
    And T-Jet, how will people know exactly that T means Turbo ie a petrol engine with turbo charger etc!!!

    FIAT in India will grow only if TFIans will take over FIAT! :mrgreen:

    very true arun.FIAT should offer us the job of marketing Linea/Punto .. I can read out more features of these cars then the sales people at TATA.

    The owners of Fiat products are the real brand ambassadors of Fiat India. If Fiat India is able to maintain dwindling numbers notwithstanding negative factors attributable to them, it is solely due to word of mouth marketing of these brand ambassadors! :wink:

    Very true. It is because of them FIAT is stilling cars in our country. I wish people managing FIAT India had the same amount of passion.

    p.s.= I have proudly added +1 to sales figures of Linea in Oct'10. (Hopefully I'l get delivery in Oct'10)

    Saw this AD on the back page of The Tribune today.

    First I thought they have launched T-Jet here as well, when I saw the word speed and a Linea in this color (sun beam biege? in this pic or medium grey?)

    Punto is shown in the same color as well.
