But the most important thing is Cedia is having 2.0L petrol engine and T-jet is competing with just 1.4L petrol engine with similar performance. Thats the beauty of Fiats superior engine (T-jet) technology

 

No doubt about it.
But once we have the power and torque output we should try to compare only the performance and where it is failing to take the advantage of the engine out put. What I would like to see is that any of the other vehicles should not even come nowhere near the shadow of a TURBO PETROL. That is where I am missing. 175 and 207 is a big difference on a equally heavy cars.
If you see Luara 1.8 TSI and Accord 2.4ivtec the Laura will Grill the accord in no time. That is the way a turbo petrol should dominate. That is what I missing here.

 

values like 10.4, 10.5 doesn't make any sense. As you point out, I really doubt the validity of these data. What are the methods used. Is it the same driver driving all vehicles. Even if same driver drives there will be errors. To come out of errors one has to do lot of trials all with same conditions. Then find the random error. I am not telling it is not at all possible but one has to define what are the criteria used. Also the errors that can come. A scientific data comes with error. To know that Tjet is the best sedan under 12Lwe don't need those first and second decimal points. Just sit at its drivers seat and drive it.

 

Just curious to know .. How far are these figures reliable ? I mean how do they collect all these. Are they doing it with any technical tools ? Really glad to see 'almost' unbiased result for Fiats which we normally dont see.

For me.. There is no replacement for displacement.. TJET with a 2 lt turbo will be sweet

There is no end for want of power.. And i sometimes feel my Tjet longs for more power when my needle inches towards a glorious 200.

Point am trying to make is - Linea's chassis begs to be powered atleast to the levels of 160 to 180 ps..with a bigger heart..

Not that way. I meant to say that Tjet will never get that power which it was begging, because it is a vehicle which knows how to use it wisely.
Although I didn't meant to include the owners within the territory of my statement, I will make it for you like this. You beg for more power for your Tjet(may be that 180 BHP)
but you (or like minded people like you) are not getting it. So now I think my statement is not against your likes.
