Ashwin (Geeash), i am letting the world know of the background story of the above discovery.

I was at the TASS last week complaining to them that the Orange ring around the Cigar lighter is not working.
The SA was smart to find that the orange lights on the rear door power window buttons too are not working.

The SA was very proactive in informing me that they found this out and the entire power window console (switch) has to be changed. I said, go ahead since it is under warranty (btw, the part was not available off the shelf).

Later while washing the car, one of the cleaning guys accidently pressed the driver door power window console. The SA then realised that the rear window buttons are glowing and when the child lock button on the front driver door is pressed, the light goes off on the rear door buttons.

I immediately got a call from the SA on this discovery and he was very proud that he found this out.

Don’t know if I should give him a whack :hit or a standing ovation ! :clapping

When I saw Ashwin's post, this nice little thingy sounded so common that I almost decided against adding it to Did You Know list. Later I thought one can mistaken this as malfunctioning of internal electricals & hence included. Forget the customers, even the Service Advisor has proven that assumption right !!

 Almost same here. My 3 year old son always opens and closes the window glass using the button and I looking for a way to prevent that, I found this button does the job.

I am new Fiat Linea (Pet Dynamic) owner and have learnt a lot about my car reading this post. Thanks to all who have contributed. I have the below observation, others can check and confirm

I see that there are two seperate bulbs in the Headlight concole. One is for regular light, and there is a seperate bulb which is turned on when I switch on High Beam lamp. I quickly checked a Honda city car in my apartment and found only one bulb there. I am sure the two seperate bulbs are provided for a good reason. Any idea?

Observed a clinking/squeaking sound from dashboard near passenger side :A . Finally found out that it was the spare bulbs getting cosy with each other ::V

A small thing not mentioned by Fiat for Punto but half mentioned for Linea in the Linea Brochure:

Punto with 4 Power Windows has Auto down feature on all four power windows. Driver side is Auto up as well.

An interesting thing to note is that if you check Fiat Linea brochure on Fiat website, it just says "All four power windows" and "Auto down front power windows/impulse" present in all Linea variants. No such thing is mentioned in Punto brochure that makes one feel that Punto does not have auto down or auto up at all and Linea has auto down only for front windows.
