Fiat Linea/ Punto - "Did You Know" Series....

yes it was solved from Balaji Thane. Mr. Wilson and Mr. Dharmendra (Technical Engineer) helped me in this case.

 

Just a small observation, I am not quite sure if it's been discussed on "Did You Know" Series so Ignore if it's already been discussed....
If you have a Warning buzzing your ear(say a Seatbelt warning Alarm), all the other warning like the indicator clicks are all gone... Sometimes you tend to forget to switch off the Hazard warning lights because there aren't any standard click sounds from the Indicators which normally helps to identify a Indicator is still on.

 

If you activate the rear door glass controls from the driver side door when the car is stationary, the central locking will not work when the car is moving and crosses 20kmph. When the car car starts moving you will hear the locking and unlocking sound until you deactivate the rear door controls. The car lock only after the control is deactivated.

This behavior doesn't happen if we activate the control when the car is in motion.

I couldn't think of any safety logic in this behavior.

1. Beeeeep heard when trying to move vehicle with Hand Brake Engaged.

 

Tried this one, but it doesn't happen for me.

This one does happen. Good find ! Looks like you forgot to release the hand brake some time?

Doesn't happen in my car get it checked. I guess the driver door wiring have got cut near the hinges

 

Does this happen in Punto Emotion + 1.4??? I dont think so...

 

How was this solved by Balaji techs??

I was facing this issue but intermittent but after battery disconnect have not seen it lately .......basically restart the electronics.

Do the guys at RS resolved such issue ? and if so how?
