Fiat Linea/ Punto - "Did You Know" Series....

These things don't work in my 2012 Linea MJD. The power windows stop in the middle the monent the ignition is turned off. I have read somewhere in this thread that power window (driver side) continue to slide up/down even if the ignition is turned off. I have checked it in my car and it is confirmed that this feature does not work in my car.

I have also checked the process mentioned by VP for deactivating the seat belt buzzer. It does not work in my car for sure.

Can someone with a 2012 Linea kindly check whether these things work in their car.

 

Or you could also use it to keep some money on long journeys (planning in advance).. like for paying tolls and all.. the coins also stay there perfectly... that way you reduce the rush to reach ur wallet (multi-tasking) at the last moment..

Can some one let me know how to put the OEM HU to pause? I mean in case I get a call I would want to pause the song and resume once im done.

If you are using B&M with a paired mobile and if you are either playing media from USB or a CD, it will pause automatically. Of course the Radio only gets muted.
If your car is not equipped with B&M and you need to take a call, or if a passenger receives a call, or you need to take a call from an unpaired mobile, bad luck.

Pause is not possible. You can only mute. :A

If it is not radio and playing from a CD, then pressing the mute actually pauses the song. I own a Linea Emotion pack - Diesel - 2011 model and confirm this operation.

I haven't tried but, even while playing from USB, pressing mute will actually pause the song.

I own a Punto 2012 Dynamic so no B&M in my car.

Let me try the method given my CSSRK this evening.

Can anyone else confirm this operation? does the MUTE button pauses song?

On the funny side up,Ofcourse it should not be in Radio mode, you can't pause the radio station and make the entire city wait till you are finished

Just tried playing a CD and using the mute on the steering wheel. It indeed does pause :clap

Did you know if you dont have any cd in the player , by just pressing cd player button it will switch to Media Player and play songs. where instead we have to go to many options using ctrl in steering and try to goto media player.

 

Usually i used to use the MID and scroll for menu to goto media player , now if we press the cd button twice its directly going to media player , which made me handy selection for media player now.
