I think it worked for me (for Locking) from about 200 meters a couple of times I tried to test it. Never had an opportunity nor a need to try it from a farther distance.

well i agree with VP. I live on 9th floor & for several times i used my remote to lock/unlock my linea & it worked! So i cant tell you guys exact figures of distacne but oprating it from 9th floor is pretty impressive for me.

The point being discussed is not the max distance from which you can lock/unlock but the variation is the distance from which you can lock and unlock the car.

Sometimes, it has been noticed that the max distance from which you can unlock the car is less than the max distance from which you can lock it i.e. you can lock the car from a distance of say 200m but you can't unlock it from 200m. You have to come closer to be able to unlock it.

Thnx PS for the emphasis on the correct point of discussion. So is this variation observed by any of you guys as for me it seems the distance is the same for Locking & Unlocking. I hope I get a chance to test this on an open ground with no obstacles in between to get the real time verdict!

Hey Guys! I tried the Locking/Unlocking thing and found that, for me, the respective distances are the same :-(. I want any of you guys to check this on an open ground and share your views..

The max distance is 61m. It'll work unless you have some obstacle in between! :)

Anirules, as I have said before, this distance thing is useless. How does it matter if the distance is same or not? :confused

Maybe Jishnu is right that the anomaly might have been the result of obstacles and it happened on a few occasions only. I made it a feature just to add to the list. :p

As soon as the fuel gauge indicator hits the tip of Red Zone (Empty zone), the warning signs buzzes on the MID, also the distance to empty indicator (Range) gets deactivated. This might be an additional warning to refuel immediately but wouldn't it be prudent to keep the Range display ON, it helps especially when traveling at night & you want to know the range you could cover with the fuel available.

What is the amount of fuel left during this period after deducting the 3 Liters which is inaccessible for airlock. ?

The distance to empty gets deactivated once it reaches 50 km. However, the low fuel lamp will be lit through out and beep once immediately after starting the engine. This is to provoke the driver to have the car filled with fuel immediately. The reserve quantity is 7 litres approximately. If the dead storage of 3 litres is deducted, the balance quantity left is 4 litres, IIRC.

A thing that I observed when you activate the Rear wiper and switch it off when it is motion, the car makes sure that the rear wiper comes back to its original position. I could not see the same thing in the i20 Asta. I am talking only about the Rear Wiper specifically.
Not sure whether this is a feature as such and is found in any other car as well as I have not tried this thing.
