Linea has an advanced onboard diagnostics system in it's driver information system(DIS) that monitors various things like F1 cars and sends data to the DIS e.g. Low Engine oil levels, low brake oil, low power steering oil, fused tail light, brake light, turn indicator, parking lights or even number plate light. e.g. It will display "Check rear left tail light, check rear number plate lights, check left front turn indicator, check brake oil etc)

Linea has a system that allows the Service Managers to connect a device with Linea that allows remote access of the car by the Fiat Engineers at Pune.

Today evening I checked my rear right parking tail light is not glowing. If I put a brake then brake lamp is glowing. But I am not getting any message on LED screen display in front panel. (mine is 1.4 P dynamic) Is there any mode to go to DIS and then check one by one?

In Active model, if any no.plate light / parking lamp or any other bulb is not working
then warning lamp glows just below the indicator warning lamp in instrument cluster.

E.O.B.D. is present in all version. Feature of EOBD are given as per varient

e.g. In top end model you get big LCD display in instrument panel
where you can know engine error without connecting ECU Examiner.
e.g. Any sensor error related to engine management system. This feature is not available in Active.

@bhai /tony - dis is the top-most central light of the instrument cluster . bulb shaped orange indicator ...
dis light came up when one of the number plate lights fused off ...

I read on some other forums that the inside air temperature sensor is located inside one of those tiny grills on the ACC control panel itself. And the knob-like sensor near the windshield is actually a sunlight sensor which is also used by the ACC to regulate its parameters depending on the level of sunshine. If that's true, it should probably be another point to add to our unique features list! Not sure how many cars have a sunlight sensor for the ACC.

I was told that the "sensor" near the windshield is housing for rain sensor for automatic wiper activation. The sensor itself is not mounted on linea.

By simple logic , a sensor inside a car can never detect rain drops ,,, Such sensors are found on the windshied ....
