All the doors have double(two stage) locking feature, even if you don't close the door completely , it won't open but sure you will get warning on MID.
same doesn't hold good for boot door in Punto.

These are termed as crumble zones by FIAT folks, you may not find such features in Jp/Korean cars of the same class.

    Informative, reassuring and useful.
    Thanks. :clap
'cept that if the boot door is open, one does get a warning on MID.

I read on some other forums that the inside air temperature sensor is located inside one of those tiny grills on the ACC control panel itself. And the knob-like sensor near the windshield is actually a sunlight sensor which is also used by the ACC to regulate its parameters depending on the level of sunshine. If that's true, it should probably be another point to add to our unique features list! Not sure how many cars have a sunlight sensor for the ACC.

@Deb- You are right regarding the location of inside temperature sensor. Regarding the sunlight sensor, every car equipped with Automatic Climate Control (Beat, i20, Punto, Linea, Cruze etc) has it at the same place.

So where is this ambient temperature sensor ? I believe what shows in the mid is ambient temperature sensor . Then it should be somewhere outside technically right. Please correct me if I am wrong

    Re: Do you know ?

Some more exclusive features of Linea: i think punto also have same features

The most important- "Advanced On board system diagnostics"

Linea has an advanced onboard diagnostics system in it's driver information system(DIS) that monitors various things like F1 cars and sends data to the DIS e.g. Low Engine oil levels, low brake oil, low power steering oil, fused tail light, brake light, turn indicator, parking lights or even number plate light. e.g. It will display "Check rear left tail light, check rear number plate lights, check left front turn indicator, check brake oil etc)

Linea has a system that allows the Service Managers to connect a device with Linea that allows remote access of the car by the Fiat Engineers at Pune.

Try to feel it on the inferior surface (undersurface) of the left ORVM.
