@sudhakar, no as you are saying you should check your car at TASC.
our 1.3MJD's have min speed specified for each gear in case of no acceleration as follows:
In 2nd gear min. speed without acceleration is 10kmph
    IN 3rd gear 20kmph
    IN 4th gear 30kmph
    IN 5th gear 40kmph
this thing is so useful that in slow moving traffic i keep using 3rd/4th gear with no foot on accelerator!!
Even when i ride my car in city using 5th gear is no trouble!!car keeps cruising on 40 & it is sufficient!! ::T
it feels good that your rpm needle stays on 1000 only!!! :drinks i.e. more FE!!! :clap :clapping

If boot is released from inside and not open, and when car is locked with remote in this situation, directions indicator blinks once followed by double blinking. This is to indicate car locking is not complete.

The indicators will also blink if a door is ajar and you try to lock the car using the remote.

Simple stuff many would ignore this , only once you touch speeds of 20 and above seal belt waring system will alarm.
Thought behind this is if you are just parking your car or taking out from parking space, usually which is at low speeds ,one need not wear seat belts.
This may be present in other cars but it's thoughtful feature.

@Sat Chit and @Countrock- This 20Kmph limit is also very handy when it comes to auto door locking.
In Figo, doors auto lock at mere 7Kmph which is obtained even in parking/taking out the car from parking. What happens is that your friends/family members will have to ask you to unlock the door so that they car enter the car after you brought it out of parking. :hit

In Punto, there can't be any such problem since the doors auto lock at 20Kmph which is not easily attained inside parking unless you drive inside the parking like those guys at dealerships/service centers.

No door auto locks in i20 or Polo. :boxer You have to lock them manually.

If any of the door is ajar you can hear the door lock actuators de-latching, that is the reason why i had only mentioned about the boot. Once i was i wondering why the blinkers had blinked twice even when the door lock actuators were heard latching... then i realized i had released the boot and had not opened it.

It is not just these two... a mighty Honda and their most famous car Honda City (ANHC, Exclusive) also does not have this feature... When i drive my dad's car, i just have to lock it manually... and i was surprised to see that first time..
