Fiat Linea/ Punto - "Did You Know" Series....

It seems FIAT have forgot to paste that code on my car or it might have got off during washing etc. Even your sticker is coming off.

 

Can request moderator to start a sticky post for owners to post the data regarding Colour codes.. Any of the Mods listening..

Where is the tow hook for the rear located in a 1.2 Punto? I was not able to find it

A/c of punto & linea does not hamper the performance of car
A/c Has calebrated A/c like this.
You wii need Garware Sun Control Ice-Cool Eite film which has 72% heat rejection.
Do not go V-cool & other bogus brands which are sold by dealers because of high sales margins only. V-cool & other imported brands are made for atmophere of westerncountries. So Garware Ice-cool or Garware Arcitic cool is only best solution for heat of India

 

It is a useful feature when you catch cold in summer and others accompanying you cant live without AC. Just that one needs to be careful when using those Ambipur car freshner which broke the vents in my Siena

 

A comprehensive list of hidden/implicit features

I searched the forum (and other forums) but there is not consolidated feature list including all the advertised and non-advertised (and even unknown to many) features and thoughtful engineering & design of Punto & Linea. So why don't we start collecting everything here to make a comprehensive listing at the end?

I feel this would help a lot of potential buyers and users of this car a lot. I have to admit that I learnt certain features only after using the car for several months. For example, the hidden AC vents below the front seats.

Let's keep the discussions to minimum and list out such features here. In forums like xxxx-bhp one is deprived of even listing these features.

It would be good to have a format like this:

Cars: [Cars to which the feature applies to]
Models: [Models]
Feature: [Feature desc.]


For example:

• Cars: Punto/Linea
  Models: All
  Feature: The illumination on power window buttons stays on after switching off the engine, and they are all turned off at the very moment any door is opened.

• Cars: Punto/Linea
  Models: Dynamic / Emotion + / Plus
  Feature: When you're browsing the MID menu and someone opens any door, the menu gets overlayed with the door open warning which can be cancelled by pressing the Menu/Esc button. Press repeatedly until all warnings get cancelled one by one.

Please feel free to suggest alternative ways of gathering this information. Mods, please delete, move or merge this thread if required.
