I am having 1.2 Active Petrol and found these vents on the very first day itself. ::D

Vents are there. But do they really work? Have anyone experienced cool air from rear vents in lower variants?

Switch-on the AC, keep the blower mode in foot mode. You will feel the air in your foot in rear seat. I have checked and it works.

What Ravi says is right but IMHO rear vents have more to do with warm air (in EU countries?) as warm air will rise and cold air will settle down.

Yes, these vents are more effective in warming the cabin. Those sitting directly behind the driver and front passengers sweat the most in summers.

Rear AC vents blow cool air directly on the feet of these passengers which is soothing/relaxing especially for those who can sit bare foot after removing sandals/shoes.

    Re: Centre console proper use..

This thread is so big.. i dont know if this "feature" was discussed earlier... so excuse my repeated post if it was..

To all those who didnt know what the slots were for... gone are your days of running to the wallet as soon as you line up at a toll...

The centre console... all those slots on either side of the hand brake lever... here is the right use to it...

You can see the coin as well between the toll receipt & the currency note..
Clicked this pic just minutes before starting for my last trip to pune from phoenix..

Today, I noticed one very small yet interesting thing.
There is a switch for selecting the outside rear view mirror to be adjusted electrically(right or left).
It has right and left arrows.
It has three positions: Right, Left, Center.

The arrows are illuminated and the illumination varies according to the position of the switch.

If this switch is in the center as shown in the pic, both the arrows have equal illumination

If the switch is in the left position(to adjust left ORVM), the illumination of left arrow increases and that of right arrow decreases and vice versa.

After even more than a year, we don't know so many small but useful features. Heck, even Rajeev Kapoor might not be aware that their cars has so many features (thats why they don't tell anybody).
