Many have done this. It may increase the GC by 5-6 mm.

So it will take the GC figures to 175 without any impact on ride quality and handling :p. And also read in some other thread that this will help fixing the speedo accuracy issue aswell.

So My plan is to wait for another 10k kms and change my tyres at 35k kms to 195 65 15". I think both YOKO and Michelin have tyres in this size.

I bought Classic+ on May 2014, Completed 3000 Km. Upgraded tyre to Primacy 3ST 195/65 R15 (Handling deduced compared to Stock Apollo).
Still i feel, i am riding on Share Auto (Ride quality).

Have you reverted to your old suspension setup (Prior 2012) ? Is it available in Fiat Service center (or) we need to buy from thrid party?

@akswamy- Those who have driven on old suspension with lower GC are finding it hard to shift to new suspension set up, unless the old suspension and GC is not fit for their local roads.

Most people were complaining that unscientific speed breakers and numerous pot holes are resulting in their cars scraping the underbelly and this was the best Fiat could do to help them.

If you find the ride quality of raised GC not upto the mark, I would recommend that you revert to old suspension set up. It is indeed available at Fiat service centers.

Yes, he reverted back to the old suspension setup. And yes it is available at FIAT service centers for about 12,000 I think including labour.

For your information, I booked my Linea and wanted it to be delivered in pre 2012 setup which did not happen. Nevertheless I changed it in about three weeks of getting the car. Personally, I would suggest the pre 2012 setup.

Guys, Can anyone tell me how much ground clearance would replacing my tyres with 195 65 15" increase?
I have a 2009 Linea and have the Old suspension set-up. Both my suspension and tyres are breathing on their last.
I love the ride quality and would not want to loose that, but about a 7-8 mm increase in GC would really help.

Does changing to 195 65 15" reduce the drive quality? Also, which brand should I go for?

The change is GC = change in Running radius = 19mm/2 = 9.5 MM in this case.
