Welcome to the league of 185mm suspensions. I was forced to upgrade to the newer one after the Haveri Hump Episode. Though initially I was apprehensive, I am quite satisfied considering the fact that I am able to drive fast and no more botheration of bottoming out.

The confidence while tackling bad roads and humps is immense due to high GC.

As per ride quality, I have not driven lower GC'd linea's much so cant comment; but coming from a Indica and 800, its a magic carpet for me even in 190mm GC.

I totally agree with you. As long as you haven't driven Linea with old GC, you will definitely be happy with this. :)

It can really be very dangerous as you said. The MJD would seize in no time should a stone rupture the sump. Sometimes its just too late as has happened to a TFIan sometime back. The engine had to undergo expensive repairs. Better safe than sorry. :)

:p heartsent for our mutual benefit .. !

You know what i had same opinion on it , but after a while it started to get better , in My case after 2500 KM it felt much settled than after installation.
Hope you will feel the same.

Just look at the difference in car's stance between Linea and the competition. To me Linea looked more ugly. :(

Yes it is. Have 16" Alloys and 205 tyres. And bleed while spending.

Vague logic. When we realize we have done a mistake why do another expensive experiment to fill that? Instead revert back which is cheaper. :)

Finally somebody other than me used the word "UGLY" on the forum for a Linea. I have always been saying that from the start and it also used to be the tallest car in my parking lot for three weeks!

I think there are too many practical people on the forum.:p

I have always been critical to this high GC and I have been recommending to enthusiastic owners to downgrade it. Few have done the same already in this forum but that is for Punto. The suspension in my car showed sign of end of life and that was the time I decided to try with the new GC kit based on positive feedback by few. Unfortunately, it didn't work out to me.
