Amit, is the "left top edge" of the cowl (plastic thingy between bonnet & windsheild which you had changed) protruding out ?

I changed my cowl yesterday because the central portion bulged because of some broken clips. TASS changed it free of cost.
The left edge is not fixing properly whereas the right portion is properly fixed.

I saw the same issue in all your photos as well. Please check if the newly replaced one has this problem ?

A great, detailed review Amit,am yet to go through all the pages, but this is an Auto journal kind of stuff, unparalalled passion towards your car, great going.
Did you take your car for monsoon free camp??,what are they doing at this camp??,am weary of taking my car to T.A.S.S!,especially the one in Chennai where I go is not a knowledgeable A.s.s.please post your experiences

Bnzi,it's TAFE REACH,I even had a wrong engine oil misadventure with them. But due credit to be given to FIAT,the next day I wrote to them, the S.A and mechanic came home rushing 156 kms from chennai on a holiday to change the oil and filter again.I had squeeks at the front ceats too, which I did complain and was rectified for only one ceat!and they did not even know that pollen filter had to be changed at 15 K kms,due to which I was sweating inside my car for another 3000 kms, poor knowledge

    Bala,
FIAT cars sold out of TAFE are very minimal. This is the reason that they have very limited knowledge (practical experience) of handling Linea/Punto.

Concorde and VST are far better than TAFE interms of knowledge levels. Attitude is one thing which is lacking with these guys. I have good contacts at Concorde and have a luv-hate relationship with them. Incase you need help, please PM me.

Yes Binze. The same corner/ edge was protruding in the earlier cowl & after some time that corner got broken, don't know how. But new one is alright.

Yes Bala. I took my car for Monsoon service camp & the detailed experience I posted on the previous page of this topic itself.

Whoa! Just read the monsoon camp report Amit! Pleasant surprise indeed. I haven't been able to squeeze time to go for the camp despite registering on Fiat site. Maybe I am lazy coz the date is till 31 Jul :dancing

Right on dot again, Binze. Even my Car's cowl (the one which I got replaced) has become slightly loose (developed bulge where it meets the glass). The original cowl on the other side is rocksolid.

I ordered and got the Jopasu car duster through Ebay. Paid 675+ shipping 90 (got a 10% discount on total wth an Ebay coupon). Alas, I got only 1 microfiber towel in the packet.(same as its description says, infact)
@VP: I see in an earlier post that the same package (named small gift set) contains 2 microfiber towels. ?

It is a really great brush - the 2 things I note about it is
    - you get a really quick 'pretty' good clean up from the everyday dust that gets accumulated. < 2mins flat !!
    - it feels very soft/light and give a "close" swish, so you dont feel guilty of dusting the car while it is dry (to me I dont like wiping it dry ..scared of marks!! )
