    Apart from Cost of ownership, what pinches one the most next is the hassles one has to go through being without car. Commute to work in cabs etc. This also brings additional cost of ownership.

    e.g. 35 times my Linea went to TASC's. She came back very few times on the same day. If we take average 2 days per visit, she remained with TASC's for 70 days and I remained without car for 70 days. My daily commute -(Resi-Work_Resi) is about Rs. 1,000 per day in cab. That means about Rs. 70,000/- If we deduct petrol cost, still I would have spent nothing less than Rs. 30,000/- to 35,000/- on cabs.

    If you were in US that 70K will definitely come back to you as a compensation if it challenged in court:)
    Actually it should be 4-5 days for a 2009 model car
