Man Salute you !! I feel very ashamed that i cannot maintain my expenses and details like you have done.

Amazing management.

 

Since the hardwork of capturing all service details and cost in Excel already done, it's possible now to do any kind of Analysis.

Here is Beginning till date maintenance cost (excluding accidental costs) at every stage & per km maintenance cost:

• Till 15K kms service - Total cost Rs. 8380/- & per km cost is Rs. 0.56
• Till 30K kms - Total cost Rs. 18926/- & per km cost is Rs. 0.63
• Till 45K kms - Total cost Rs. 27,593/- & per km cost is Rs. 0.61
• Till 60K kms - Total cost Rs. 90,246/- & per km cost Rs. 1.50
• Till 72,250 kms - Total cost is Rs. 1,15,194/- & per km cost is Rs. 1.59

Clearly till 45K kms, it was going alright post which everything went haywire and it continues to 60K kms and further beyond 60K kms.

What Poise, What composure, What balance, What Ride & Handling and what not... !

 

Between 45k and 60k you have spent Rs. 62,653. This is really shocking. What is the reason for this expense? Sorry I have missed many of your earlier posts. Also, between 60k and till now, you have spend 25k+. What made up this cost?

Edit:- Just gone through your expense chart - http://www.teamfiat.co.in/linea-1-4-fire/25-fiat-linea-1-4-fire-emotion-pack-73.html#post136676. I believe it also includes the cost of tyre replacement and GC Kit, right? This would make up around 35k.

 

Yep. I changed 4 tyres at about 55K kms and changed battery as well at about 50K kms. Plus 60K kms service was a killer with cost more than 25,000/-. Here is the list from 45K kms to 60K kms.



From 60K kms to 72 K kms, the major cost is Suspension & AC. AC coil went kaput. While coil was covered under extended warranty, AC Gas cost was still needed to be borne. I never wanted to spend on GC upgrade. But Rear suspension got leaked and needed to be changed. So, I decided to go for GC upgrade might as well.

Here is the list of items done during 60K to 72 K kms. 75K kms major service is looming large and the Cost per km should be almost Rs. 2 per km (at 75K kms) !

• What is the biggest period during which my Linea could keep herself away from TASC? ---- 5 months (from 18th Feb'11 to 26th Jul'11)
  
  
• In this year, till Aug'12, my Linea had to visit TASC EVERY MONTH except Feb'12 - It started from Dec'11 and paused at Aug'12 (except Feb'12).
