Trying to explore forum to get details on labour costs. Here are a few posts:

Though labour costs are not separately mentioned, Brake Pads & discs are changed here as well as timing chain is replaced. And its 60,000 kms service. Total cost is Rs. 16,676 vs mine Rs. 23,000+ (with an additional item of oil leakage repairing only).

Brake Pad check & cleaning - cost Rs. 550/-

Brake Pad change labour cost - Rs. 300 only
Wheel Alignment & Balancing - Rs. 400 only
Coolant - Rs. 482/-

Brake Pad change labour cost - Rs. 600/-
Coolant 2 ltrs - Rs. 482/-
Wheel balancing - Rs. 480/-

Brake Pad replace labour cost - Rs. 200 only

Yes. Rs. 600 labour cost for Brake Pads change is high. What if I told you that I was charged Rs. 1200/- labour cost for changing Brake Pads & Discs - not once but Twice

Clearly, it's coming out that Brake pad change labour cost is about Rs. 200 to Rs. 600/-. Fortune charges Rs. 1200/- for Brake Pads/ Discs change labour. I was charged Rs. 1200 twice when I changed it at 30K & 60K kms, FastLove is also charged by Fortune, Nerul Rs. 1200/- labour.

2 Ltrs coolant is filled in almost everyone's car - Cost is constant at Rs. 482/-. Why on the earth did SA poured 4 ltrs coolant in my Linea & charged me for a full Rs. 977/-?
There are many such items in bill. I never paid attention till now. It's only this time that the bill was high I checked. My faith in Fortune has nosedived completely.

 

Nope, no change. Surprisingly. Else after each service car used to become smoother to drive.The buggers have not fixed gearknob in exact alignment. The plate on gearknob showing gears is 45 degree slanted instead of exactly centre aligned. Can it be rectified by self Just by rotating the leather cover part of knob or it needs to be opened again to rotate it?

 

Today afternoon I saw that the Front bumper right side Chrome strip is missing
I asked driver where did he lose it? He has no clue. Asked him to check the place where the car was parked y'day. The strip was lying there
Has anybody fixed it?

 

AC is not cooling since last 2 days. Very very little almost negligible cooling even in the lowest temp setting. Last 1 month has been bad which is started by horrible 60k kms service.

 

My woes with the car continues.

Now AC gas is leaked. Sent the car to Wasan, kandivali. They say they will take 2 days to repair:eek : firey

My Driver says there is some noise coming from left side at high speeds over 100 kmph. Job card says to check strut mounts. Though I did not notice this noise till now. If not covered under warranty I think I won't replace any mounts.

 

Wonder why the AC gas leaked.

Try Araldite to fix the chrome strip. Solid as hell. To ensure even greater bond - Scratch (lightly) the exact place where it'll go so that a bit of paint comes off - so that the bond is between chrome strip and bare bumper. And not between strip and paint.
