Wish a happy drive. A good place for neat and clean food in Panjim is Hotel fidalgo. The veg restaurant is really good(legacy of Bombay). Also you can try Hotel Rajdhani, MG road for excellent veg thali.

Thanks. Lots of Goa pics are what I posted in my 2 previous travelogues "Beauty on the Beach - Bombay to Goa part 1 & 2".
Ah. You reminded me happy memories. Fidalgo is like a second home to me. I handled an assignment at Goa for 9 months and used to stay at Fidalgo always. Gujarati Thali at Bhojan and Panipuri at Legacy of Bombay at Fidalgo are just superb.

I'm wondering ho come you guys are quoting prices like Rs 5250 for Mich Primacy LC? Is it for a lower size?

205/55/16 in PLC retails for Rs 8950 per tyre and that is the official price.

Also try panipuri at Legacy of Bombay. I stayed at Fidalgo for over 100 days overall. Lunch used to be guj thali at bhojan and evening snacks or dinner used to be 2 plates of panipuri. Yday I tried looking for guj food at baga kalangute to no avail. Only later found that Rotlo ne Otlo has changed place.

Experienced Bridgestone Potenza GIII on highways during Goa trip. It's wonderful. The road grip is superb. Noise is not much lesser than stock GoodYear GT3. Superb grip gives an excellent maneuverability while driving and that's what I like the most in driving.

Somehow I feel there is a booming noise at high speed. Does not look to be due to tyres but sounds like sweet Engine growl. Could this be due to wheel bearings as discussed in an other thread?

Shall try to put together Goa Travelogue Part 3 tomorrow alongwith the earlier 2 Parts :

Does the booming noise appeared throughout the journey(high speed)? If it is only appeared only at certain portion it can be a any wear and tear. Wear and tear effect will occur consistently but dynamical effects can occur while the vehicle dynamics meets certain condition. An origin can be the effect generated via acoustic modal characteristics of the cavity, the dynamic behavior of the surrounding structure, and by the nature of the coupling of these two dynamic systems. Even the road condition can couple with the cabin acoustic system via body and tyre. No need to worry about the noise.( a logical guess).
Waiting for your Goa trip details.
