    OFF TOPIC!!!

VP, your car engine's area needs an URGENT CLEANING, you can't take a risk of an heart attack, too much dust (Cholesterol) around car's heart!!!!

Hey, it's not that bad :). You're making mountain out of a molehill !!
I'm an old fashioned guy who does not like to disturb a nice & good working item !!
Seriously, it just requires a swipe of the cloth. But I never do it in engine bay.

What is this warning "Check left sidelight" with glowing error bulb symbol on MID? It's coming up quite frequently eventhough all the lights including left sidelight are working (Headlight, left/ right sidelight, fog lamps etc all working). After sometime it automatically goes off !

Loose connection in all probability. I had a "check number plate light" message on/off ever since purchase. Light is still functioning and error still comes and goes :)

About 57,000 kms on the ODO...

Time to say goodbye to the good old GoodYear GT3 !

    Time to change tyres.

Any suggestions ?? My requirements are simple. The grip should be fantastic. I'm not that sensitive to the road noise though lesser noise is welcome but not at slightest cost/ compromise on road grip.

Just now I was passing by a nearest tyre shop & checked. He suggested 3 options:

Yokohoma - 1) AA series - Rs. 4700/- & 2) ES series (he mentioned it as Sport tyres!) - Rs. 4800/-
Michelin Primacy LC - Rs. 5600/-
    Bridgestone RE88 - Rs. 5150/-

    All Prices negotiable.

57k is a good stretch for stock tyres indeed.

Do post pictures of the old tyres. I replaced the gt3 with Bridgestone Potenza . Great on grip and looks cool too.. Already done more than 15k with it :)

Do periodic tyre rotation. I have done 2 rotations for the potenza . Its looking good for 57000 more now I guess :p

Heard good reviews about Bridgestone Potenza as FastLove mentioned above.

Decided on Potenza, shall get it changed at 1st available opportunity (time availability).

Amit just check out for Yokos too. Hearing lot of good reviews on Yoko A drive. I am not trying to put you into a confusion. You can finalise between Potenza & A drive .

Go for Yoko's or Michelins, mate. Bridgestone is an 'also-ran' these days. Why not the Michelin Primacy LC? This is the tyre the Linea deserves to complement it's excellent ride quality. Plenty of TFIans running this tire. Nkapoor777,Axn,Vijaykhasa...

I am using Michilin XM1+ for more than 1 year, super quite, extremely comfortable and very grippy. The only downside is that they squeal a lot specially on cement car park. Or maybe they squeal on drive due to the fact that you push your car a lot due to its grip.

But one of the best tyres money can buy.
