^^^ apart from labor, parts are damn cheap considering linea in picture. this is great pricing by fiat.

 

I agree, Amit. The Change of entire Clutch Kit costs less than Rs. 3,000 on parts. But this Labour cost which is 50% more than part cost is actually killing that super pricing effect.

I asked SA why so high labour cost? He said Clutch replacement involves opening the assembly & may be gear box (I'm not sure if he mentioned gear box or something else)

 

You are right. The gearbox wont be opened up. However, They need to dismantle all the drive shafts and one more procedure which I forgot. Might be the reason for such high labour which is still not acceptable.

 

Changed the Remot Key Battery CR 2032 today. After 2.5 years usage the battery got weak and Remote was working on and off.

 

whats the price? good it lasted for 2.5 years. i think mine is going weak already. the range has reduced a lot.

 

Its a normal flat round battery (Maxell CR 2032). The guy charged me Rs. 40
The earlier original one was "Made in Indonasia" forgot the brand

 

Y'day I observed a long patch on rear left wheel arc from where this clear coat / lacquer / lamination is peeled off . Not much visible but there is a difference in shine. The surface from where clear coat is peeled off looks bit dull. I don't know what's happening.

To add salt to the injury, today morning some crooked one seemed to have run a long scratch on front right fender & also on front right door. The scratch on the door runs thro' the Fiat sticker.

The 2.5 Year "New" car is getting "old" :A
