Fiat Linea 1.4 FIRE Emotion Pack

As i understand, any new parts will have its own 6 month warranty. Hope you don't have to pay extra.

 

after reading so many various posts on our forum i think we need to take up the parts shortage matter with fiat.

Clutch not available- headlights not available - taillights not available - condensor shortage- radiator shortage

What do they have in stock then? why does a car need to be in workshop for weeks?

this is a case of car in production, i am wondering how palio and uno owners feel.

 

Got the car back.

Clutch kit is replaced. Not covered under the warranty as of now. Paid Rs. 8000/-. Labour cost is whopping rs. 4,500/- + taxes

Even I do not know how it has burnt. Got it repaired and paid also as I did not want to be without car for long. TASS told me that they have spoken to CRM & it can't be covered under warranty since it has burnt. AGM asked that sometime even if car is run for a few km with half clutch pressed, it may burn & offered to give me a driving tutorial . I said thanks but I've been driving this car since last 2.5 years & there has been no issues with earlier old clutch except for it being a bit harder.

Also, Fiat has always helped, so I felt li'l embarrassing to insist on warranty again. However, I've sent a mail to Fiat. Let's see. If it happens, great. If not, fine, I'll take it in stride.

 

Tested the car today. The Clutch is as smooth as butter. Am just loving it. Its better than 2 months back when it was replaced 1st time.

This could be a good argument for warranty claim. Thanks. But TASS point is that if the part does not have defect than it can't be covered under warranty. It says Clutch can be burnt by driving with half clutch pressed even for a short distance. Doubtful & contestable. I got Fiat's reply that they are inquiring with TASS. Let's see. I did not pursue much as I said earlier I felt a bit embarrassed asking Fiat for warranty again & again.
