Currently ODO shows 44K kms but I've to prepone 45K kms service.

    • Rear right Brake light not working. Shows warning light on MID

    • Driver side window panel switches stopped working. Could not operate windows from Driver side. All other 3 window panels are working & hence it seems an issue with the switch/ electricals

I think shortly I'll have to change the tyres & decide which one to put.
    Any suggestions ?

I'm not that unhappy with stock GoodYear tyres. Though noise is a bit higher, grip is excellent.

    4th Service checklist

Penned down checklist of Things to Do in 4th Service. My driver may drop the car & I might not be going, hence the checklist to handover:

    • Service including all scheduled items like Engine Oil change etc
    • Check all fluids levels – Power Steering oil, Brake oil, Coolant, Engine oil, AC gas etc etc
    • Put only Selenia K PETROL Engine Oil only. 3.3 to 3.5 ltrs
    • Tyre Rotation - Front to Rear on the same side i.e. Left front to Left rear – DO NOT DO “X” pattern rotation.
    • Right rear Brake Light not working. Warning light on MID glows
    • Driver side window switch panel not working. Can’t lower windows from driver side. However, all other doors window switches are working. Only Driver side switches are not working.
    • Fuse box lid to be fixed with clips. Not getting clips since last 4 months.
    • Glove box lid – gaps visible on closing - align properly
    • Bonnet to be repainted with factory finish & polish
    • Rear bumper paint touch ups on small black dots/ spots
    • Check AC fan speed in auto ACC mode. I feel it has reduced.
    • Check Pollen filter. If needed & part of service, replace it.
    • Clutch always hard since beginning. Work done last time at Fortune Sakinaka. But still it feels hard. Pls check.
    • Front Bumper misaligned – to be aligned with bonnet
    • Check Brake Pads. Changed Brake Pads & Brake Discs at 30,000 kms service (only 14,000 kms run after that), hence it should not require change. But pls check. If it requires change, pls check the cause of such early wear as some settings/ parts may have gone wrong somewhere.
    • Lower beam headlight – to align slightly upwards – the beam is very low.

Anything else should I add ?

    Pretty good list. Few more....

    Check wiper blades.
    Check wiper jet nozzle.
    Check underbody for any scrapes

    Happy 4th servicing :)
    Waiting for your update

    Btw..I did my 4th service at 44200km.

I recommend Bridgestone potenza g3. super grip, low noise, looks great.. Looks bigger than it actually is because of the design

Dropped the car for Service :) Shall get it back tomorrow.

One issue - I asked TASC to remove the FIAT stickers from both front doors. Works Manager called & said it might creat scratches while removing with a flat "patti" & both the doors might need be repainted & polished. He also said it might leave a faint impression. I'll have to go to some professional shop, if it can be done.

Any ideas what is the best way to remove them?

Oh.. This is not good news..

though I was not planning to remove the sticker, this certainly is not good.

I think many from the plant visit have removed the stickers without any issue.

if these are vinyl stickers, these can be removed easily with no issues.
if these are made from those road side radium stickers they get fixed into the paint. so removing them will create a mess and lots of scratches.

for vinyl stickers, heat them a little to make them flexible and peel them off.

if the stickers are new they can be removed without any issue.

also after removing the stickers the imprint will be visible for sure more on the darker colours. best way is to do a good rubbing in that area.

A costly solution: Just apply a little petrol on the stickers. A little will do. After some time you can see the stickers coming off with glue separated from it.
