    Amit,

    My Linea 1.4 EP is made in Dec 09 and was delivered to me in feb 10.
    I used it very less ( 4500 km till date) as I am stationed in hills and roads are not worthy of a sedan.
    Now, My annual service is due and I need to ask:
    Do I need the AC upgrade? Am I eligible?
    What are major points I need to keep in mind for this service?
    Do they check and top up fluids (engine oil, coolent etc) free of cost or do they charge for it?
    Have you made some ready reckoner for it?

    D_D: Go ahead with required services for sake of warranty claims, yes you would be asked for engine oil replacement as part of second services, its either 15K km or 1 year also there would be coolant topup. Other than this they should not charge you anything else. In case there could be few filters replaced too.

    yes, AC upgrade would be required in your car and do get it done. Its quite effective.

    Also, ask TASC to check CSC. There is a new "metal" CSC introduce recently. Its better to change the old one.

    Rest everything is as per service schedule in manual. Do read it,

    Have not waxed my Linea since more than a year as 3M Paint Protection Treatment with 1+2 applications was in effect. Thought of waxing it today. Got lazy. Then thought of atleast clean the seat covers. Laziness prevailed again. But my affection towards Linea was forcing me to do something for her. So took Com-cut tube from Com-Paint value pack & set out to try it on those damned scratches on bonnet. Applied it. The scratches being deep have not obviously disappeared but became a bit faint. The White which was visible has become faint. However much I try not to use com-paint, I think these damned scratches will force me to take the risk & try com-paint in coming weeks.

    Am also thinking of removing the Fiat stickers from both front doors.

    Any particular reason, Amit? When my Linea visited Concorde Motors, Mysore Road, for AC upgradation, the SA was attracted by the FIAT stickers on the doors and enquired from where I got them. He was happy when I narrated our FIAT plant visit on 3 Dec 2010.

    The stickers sure are attractive. But now the looks need change :) , am getting bored with the same looks. Also, want to see my Linea in her original looks :mrgreen: . Lastly, with these stickers, doesn't the car look a bit like a demo car ::V ?

    Someone (looks like naughty children) have again scrawled scratches on bonnet of my Linea & of course thro' my heart :cry: . This time its across the bonnet like what someone had done on nk4fiat's Linea. Though the scratches are not very deep, they still are clearly visible. They might get faint after sometime but still will be visible. I think I'll have to get the bonnet repainted or try Com-paint on half of the bonnet, mess it up & then get it repainted :anyone
