    Amit Sir,
I know i am the same in nature
also a thought came in to my head i thought i will put it across to you ,
while i was following you enroute towards Mumbai and few moments when i went past you i thought i
saw some smoke coming of your exhaust pipe it was not Black ,have a check - well when you get to the TASC check what
was the FUEL Filter they used ?Is it with Sensor or without Sensor ?

Secondly - this one is actually very Funny when i went past you while in pune traffic and having to drive uphead with you on my tail
I had severe issues looking in front of my windshiled !!!!
Reason- Your Car with both Headlights (HIGHBEAM) &FOGS where absolutely eye-piercing through my REAR VIEW MIRROR
can you imagine i have SP50 3M sunflim on rearwindshield which gives enough protection from Light and HEAT
But with you in my Rearview mirror i was Having Nightmares ::OO leading theway !!!

My point : Please dont change anything on the Left headlight assembly,Its already too Bright !
The Darkness is only superficially visible for people like you and me when engine is switched off and simply Admired ::T

    Cheers
    TND

    Tarak,

I know it as in a few instances someone from car ahead me also signaled me that the lights of my car are glaring him. However, I find Low Beam of Linea not to be powerful enough and hence have to keep High Beam ON even-though in city ::V

But if the lights are so glaring to the cars ahead me, how come the power is not translated onto the powerful beam illuminating the road. I mean the Headlights illumination on the road is not that powerful, in fact I sometimes feel I could do well with a bit more powerful lights ::V

    Dear Vahan Pujari,

I'm torn between Diesel & Petrol Linea, IF you were to rewind, would you have opted for MJD over Fire?

I Ask this because after TD for both MJD & Fire, i felt that power was better in MJD, in Fire it was not as good, even lesser than my Zen Estillo.

    sunnyside,

If I were to rewind, I might still have gone for FIRE. I'm a petrolhead & that FIRE engine growl & 6500 rpm's give a typical kick to me.

But you are right. MJD gives a better initial drive-ability because of initial torque but FIRE engine makes it up at higher speed or higher rpm's. Its subjective & suggest you do repeated & long TD's of both - MJD & FIRE. Choose whichever you enjoy.

Few pics after the repairs. Paint job seems to be alright. Though there is a very slight difference between A Pillar & Left front fender due to polish/ ageing.

Also check the difference between the new Driver side Headlight & the old Passenger side Headlight. I think old headlight is blackening & I shall have to change it when I visit TASC next time.

The paint job as u mentioned could have been better, I think the more u use the headlamps, it will get better.

    AMit Sir ,

I think its worrying to spot the difference of the left headlight assembly, these pics above superficially proves that a change is eminent !
Also like i had mentioned theres are a Jugaad with a so called polish or foam based gel/cream to clear the darkening and
applied directly on the glass assy.
I think the way to source it is gonna be ebay or amazon , i somehow feel if Madhu.S from
METHODS ,Bangalore would stock it too please Check URL :http://www.methods.co.in/

Also with a invoice pending for the Repair cost to be attained and a paint retouch on the left rear wheel arch demands
some attention off Wasan Floks - I am sure they will be all ears to give you all the attention you Need !

Having said that I will be off to Sakinaka , Fortune for a 2nd scheduled service ,
would update things as it progresses hopefully.
Also my focus to get hands on with the 3M guy and determine others things including the most awaited
ACC ECU update and a New CSC assembly as confirmed by the Fortune ,Worksmanager.

    Cheers
    TND

Irrespective of that, they'll be all ears asthey now know me. I created ruckus at the very beginning last year & thereafter twice I appreciated acknowledging good service experiences.

Got the Invoice. Seems they've not changed the fender but repaired & repainted it. That's ok as long as the job is well done.

Anyways, my next visit is scheduled at Fortune, Sakinaka for some earlier pending work. Shall ask them to change the headlight.

Today, I thought I'll clean my Linea's Art Leather Seat Covers & the Beige color interior plastics. I took out a bottle of Collin for cleaning Seat Covers & a very old (7 years  ) old bottle of Formula 1 Dashboard Protectant. Cleaned the Driver side seat cover & a small patch on Driver side door plastic. got tired & left it at that. I'll let the TASC do it during next visit

A query - I bought BlackBerry Curve 8530 sometime back. It seems there are no BlackBerry maps available for India. I downloaded Google maps & installed on my mobile. It works like a charm showing the directions and all. The only thing missing is Voice directions. Do you guys know any other free maps which run on BlackBerry ?

The Next TASC visit (whenever it happens) has following scheduled:

    • ACC kit update/ replacement[/*:m:30905p95]
    • Left side Headlight darkening[/*:m:30905p95]
    • Clutch feeling hard (I did not feel it until I drove FastLove's Linea. He changed the clutch assembly & his Linea's clutch is butter-smooth !)[/*:m:30905p95]

on their JOB CARDs & Spared your BACK!

Well i think MMI is the Best bet! On their website all smartphones with various OS mobile maps avail ,
they also have a one time paid map upgrade with
    Voice except for BB's !

SO Shot a mail and got a reply as below .
I think its really worth investing on a dedicated GPS system in the cabin with snooze feature.
If not i think all blackberry boys have to play the waiting game untill MMI maps gets mapped on their BB's
