Oh, Yes. All 3 had been given due respect  . I've Araldite & FeviBond already lying in my Car's Glovebox. Could not find HitLock after giving it a hard try & hence FeviBond as an alternative.

For every different Application/ Usage, there is a different Brand/type....

Linea picked up by Wasan today morning. 4-5 telephone calls in the morning to find out Insurance survey has not happened till evening. Called Works Manager in the afternoon to intervene. Insurance SA who was on leave called at 6 pm to inform me that come what may he'll get the survey done today itself. Don't know whether it happened or not - I thought I've pestered them a lot. But what to do. Its lots of hardship without the car. Lets see tomorrow.

Day before, when I got out of the car & shut the front driver door, I heard a clink on the backside. Something made of metal has fallen down on the road. It was Door Chrome handle of the rear right door. Gave it to TASS to fix it.

Nope, Bala. Its quite relevant. In fact, Araldite is coming into play tomorrow again. Those morons have kept my car for 5 full days for not a very big job like replacing bumper, fender & Headlight. Even in those 5 days, they've not fixed my Door Handle. It still is lying in the Glove Box the way I kept it.

Now tomorrow, Jai Ho Araldite...Do it Yourself is the mantra for such stuff...

    DIY jobs done today:

    • Door Chrome Handle fixed with Araldite[/*:m:m7wc0a0g]
    • Chrome beading on dash (above Glovebox) became loose - FIxed with Araldite ! (my kids fiddled with it couple of times). However, the fitment of this Chrome beading is not very strong. Its fitted with dash with help of 4-5 small Plastic plugs at even distance inside. These plugs are fixed in the holes. 3-4 of these plugs are broken & it was surviving on just 1-2 plugs. Its tough fitting this beading as there is a curve on the surface due to dash curve & both ends comes out with reverse pressure. Have tried best but not sure if its fitted as factory fitting. Still its ok.[/*:m:m7wc0a0g]
    • Rear end of Rubber beading on roof got loose & was jutting out. Fixed it with Fevi Bond.[/*:m:m7wc0a0g]

Accident repair job done by Wasan Motors. After a pleasant experience in July, this time Wasan Motors came back to its usual self. It took a whopping 5 days for them to get the work done. And in these 5 days, they did not fix door chrome handle. And icing on the cake is a long scratch on left rear fender on the wheel arch. Have to speak to GM to get touching done next time.

Headlight, Front fender & bonnet replaced. Surprisingly, my contribution came to only Rs. 2,500/-. They forgot to send Invoice with the car, would receive it in 2-3 days. Bonnet color looks to be alright. I feel there is a slight difference in color polish between the Fender color and A column. Its very faint & may be due to old & new color and polish.

    HAHAHA ::D
Funny way how Araldite is exsisting in a FIATER's Life with their Rides
"Araldite Baba Ki Jai Ho ...! " Should be the Slogan for Lasting effects of such an in-aminate product

Also , Cant wait to check the Bill/Invoice from Wasan Guys after the claim
Rs.2500/- (cant believe that fig ..amazingly cheap)

I also recollect you have some balance pending from them that needed
to be adjusted for laterz, i hope you got that debited and adjusted with in the Wasan Invoice.?

    cheers
    TND

Yes, TND. I got the pending balance back. I paid Rs. 2500-500 = 2000/-. But I still have not got Invoice from them. I spoke to GM today & he said they'll send me the Invoice & will repair/ touch up the scratch happened during repairs the next time I visit them. They've been nice & I find it difficult to be un-nice to people who're nice with me & hence left it at that.
