    Thank you, all

I must say I'm really enjoying the LineaExperience thoroughly after 30K kms service. So much so that I'm seriously considering full service at every 8-10K kms henceforth. Damn the Engine oil cost, damn the Fuel/Air filter etc cost. The car has become so smooth & so sprighty that she feels a different car altogether. Even in 5th gear at lower speed while climbing Flyover, a little tap on the pedal just takes her off. Kudo's to Fortune Powai/Sakinaka & I think I must post it in Service station review section.

I noticed that a thief has seriously tried to flick off rear boot Fiat logo from my Linea. As I've filled the surrounding grooves/spacing (on the edges of logo) with Araldite, it seems he must have forced Screw Driver forcefully to flick it. 2 Scratches are visible on the peripheral chrome of the logo & a layer of Araldite has peeled off. Fortunately, I've filled substantial Araldite that he could not get even a millimeter opening. Back off, you thief. Move on elsewhere.

I'm feeling so happy :dancing . As From my helplessness earlier, now its converted to thief's helplessness :clapping

    HAHAHA,well done.
Iam going to invent a new accessory, which would pass electricity to the Logo, only when the thief touches it!!!

Dude , Congrats on crossing the 30k mark :clapping The well maintained Beauty does Rock for sure.

I was also advised to replace Brake Pads but i opted to do it in a later visit (Maybe now). But , why did you have to change the discs??

My braking is spot on and i am also planning to change pads just as a precaution.

Frankly, I actually don't know & this question came to me also. Again quite frankly I think I was overcharged by Fortune. But the pressure at work is so so much in last 2 months that I gave it a damn & was not in a position to find time to even think about it & call for clarification. Pads are understandable but Discs??
    :wink: ::D ::T

    VP,

I too was surprised when I saw the disc change. A disc is more permanent than the abrasive pads that are meant to wear out with use. The wear rate of your pads seems to be normal and hence your discs should have lasted more. Epicenter does more speed and miles and his pads have lasted quite well. It is only if you have braking issues that discs wear out faster like our friend from Trivandrum who had changed his pads at 16 K kms.

Did they return the changed parts( they should have ).If yes measure the wear rate with a vernier and compare to stock disc. If the service centre is able to con such a meticulous person as you, I wonder whats in store for normal unaware customers.

I may be all wrong as the SA could be the best judge, him being on the spot, but high wear rate of brake disc could be argued for warranty replacement as your pad wear rate doesnt suggest you are are a hard braking guy.
When you find time do ponder on this nip in the bud such antics of service centers :devil

BTW, I've a feeling that My Linea's Headlight lens have just started to get slightly darken :confused Shall wait for sometime to assess.

Sorry to hear that, Amit. So, the Turkey-made headlamps getting darker is due to prolonged usage, say after 30 k km, and not time-based. Fiat India should advise the Fiat dealerships to replace them whenever warranty claim is lodged.

Ouch ! Bruise on the Beauty ::OO

I was just coming out of my apartment building when some moron suddenly reversed his car out of his stilt parking. Front right of my car banged with rear of his car. Fortunately I was at slowest speed < 10 kmph. Not much damage. But still... Headlight glass is broken, scratches on the front bumper, small dent on Front right fender & wheel arc. Thats not worrying - What I'm worried about is to take the car to TASC(Time required) for estimate, Insurance survey & time it takes (if I go for it) & then repairs - takes 4-5 days & the hardship of to & fro to office without car. Am trying to get it to TASC today to get estimate & thereafter would take a decision. Usually, I prefer to claim insurance to get parts changed to keep the car new. But due to time taken by insurance claim, lemme see this time.

EDIT: Only the Headlight glass is broken, inside headlight is intact. Can I just change the glass only or do I still need to change the entire headlight assembly?
