Fiat Linea 1.4 FIRE Emotion Pack

Since Mahabaleshwar trip, I've been observing that the rear wheels while going over potholes at full speed, makes a thud noise sometimes. It happens only sometimes when the car goes abruptly over potholes. The sound is sharp Thud sound as if rear suspensions are non-existent. Else its completely usual & I forget it for a few days until I get the noise again suddenly sometime again. I think I've to lower the air pressure in rear tyres. If I remember, I filled 33 psi in front & 32 psi in rear in cold tyres. When warm, this translates into 37 psi & 36 psi.

Anybody facing this?

 

The Letter "I" from the decal "Linea" from the boot is missing :P :cry:

Don't know whether the washer guy caused it while washing or someone flicked it.

 

I noticed it on Monday afternoon when I went out for a meeting - some other place & not at home or office. However, am not sure I paid attention on Monday morning while leaving for office. It might be possible that it got off during Sunday car wash or flicked by someone where I went for a meeting.

I'll have to search for Letter "I". I think the entire set costs around 1000 bucks :P

 

29,300 kms on the ODO. Time for 3rd Service. May be next week-end. Thinking of going to Fortune Powai. Here is the list of items to be done which I penned down. Pls suggest & add any items I'm missing which I should get it done :

• Service including all scheduled items like Engine Oil change etc[/*:m:e24h1upp]
• Should I change the Pollen Filter to new Mesh one?[/*:m:e24h1upp]
• Tyre Rotation - Front to Rear on the same side i.e. Left front to Left rear - No X pattern rotation.[/*:m:e24h1upp]
• Paint touch up on front bumper - While changing the lower bumper grill, TASC technician had a hard time removing the grill & in the process paint got peeled off from many spots on the bumper edges.[/*:m:e24h1upp]
• ACC ECU update[/*:m:e24h1upp]
• Wheel Alignment & Rotation[/*:m:e24h1upp]
• Steering Locak issue - not working[/*:m:e24h1upp]
• 3 M Paint Protection - 2nd free application[/*:m:e24h1upp]
• Cigarette Lighter - Check if not working properly - Nokia charger looses current. Either Nokia charger is faulty or the lighter is losing current[/*:m:e24h1upp]
• Check availability of Linea letters/ decal. Letter "I" is missing & may be I need to buy the entire set :confused [/*:m:e24h1upp]
• Linea Scuff Plates - buy & fit[/*:m:e24h1upp]
• Opening in the boot (near Fuel tank) & under the bonnet to cover with Wire Mesh to prevent Rat entry in car[/*:m:e24h1upp]
• Check Clutch Hardness - feel slightly hard[/*:m:e24h1upp]
• Check Suspension Struts - before its warranty gets expired at 30K kms (thanks FastLove for this info)[/*:m:e24h1upp]
• Door locks to clean with WD40 & greased. 1 door feels slightly hard to open from outside.[/*:m:e24h1upp]
• Tighten the Boot Lever (small rod which goes inside an opening in the body while closing the boot). It gets loosen & I've tightened it twice but just with my fingers and not with a spanner.[/*:m:e24h1upp]
• Fuse Lid & Glove box - standard in every service :mrgreen: To ask for better fitment than present [/*:m:e24h1upp]
• Earlier complaint - followup & check - some paint issues I mentioned few days back - a few small small dots from where paint has peeled off on bonnet, boot & a door. Very small dots not visible from 4-5 feet distance.[/*:m:e24h1upp]

Pls add if I'm missing out any standard or usual item that I should get it checked & done.
