Fiat India - Sales Thread

May be guys visiting FIAT factory on 3'rd, can find out if the factory was not operational in October. But, still these are very poor numbers.

Linea : 301
Punto : 699
Palio : 23
500 : 0

Or people waiting for Tjet

1025 cars in all!!!
I hope it is due to the maintenance thing like last year. FIAT aimed @ ~45k cars this year and so far they have achieved ~21.5k. :cry:

 

My T-Jet was manufactured in Oct. So even if the factory was out for a few days, they must have produced enough stock to cover for Diwali sales (if there is a term called "Diwali Sales" in FIAT). Ideally maintainence for a few days should not impact sales, as FIAT sales are a way lower than factory's capacity. If it at all impacts sales, that was a bad schedule for maintainence when you are launching the flagship model for your company.

I remember very well, the reason was told as Plant shutdown.

 

last year november sales were around 2000 and this year it is 1025.
Last year december sales were around 1000 and this year ?????? (plant shutdown is scheduled in Dec)

Being a new enterent to the Fait family.. november month sale is disappointing for the company...
but the products are good..

is there anyway we will come to know how much is the T-Jet in that 301.

 

When I decided to buy T Jet, thought Fiat would be selling atleast around 1500 nos in total this month. It is disappointing. When I checked with the sales guy he said he sold around 12 T jets . Assuming three dealers in Bangalore they could have sold around 20 nos alleast in Bangalore.

 

whats with the math? 301+699+23+0 = 1025?? Does this include exports also?
