We are all aware that tata is killing the FIAT's as they know the loop where to hit the customer and divert him to tata,
Anyways FIAT is improving. and Always Slow and Steady Wins the RACE....

+1 CEO is unfit to fiat India, we need gradual change. think is sleeping doing nothing with add, not even seen a single add in television nor in newspaper, from past 6 months, just rumors are spreading with change of beige interiors! why they not learning from other's like, vw, Hyundai & maruti...

Consistent 2000+ since last 5 months!!!!
Haunting past of FIAT, No Advt., dumb marketing, even in showroom these beautiful babes face rival competition to divert the customer to Tata and still they are selling.
    Whats the reason ???
    1. Kudos to FIAT for marvelous piece of engineering with stunned look, rock solid performance and once you see her closely u just can't see others.
    2. Wise customers like us, in spite of pulling down in every direction they choose FIAT and becomes happy forever.
  5. Pathetic ..is the word !

Look at these numbers...sub 1k for Linea and sub 1.5K for Punto (with all engine variants and trims) ....consistent for months now. Its appalling state of affairs if nothing more !

Lets face it guys, FIAT didn't or still doesn't have an aggressive plan for India. There is just no PUSH from anywhere, no desperation in selling and doing the numbers, to improve or strive for excellence. They show just no appetite or inclination to fight head on with competition. By all counts, if FIAT had been any bit as aggressive or even assertive about things here, they would have introduced Punto and Linea with better quality/fit/finish in the plastics department and better mated gear box. Its close to 2 yrs now, if they haven't assessed customer feedback/market sentiment yet, then its only fair to say they are not serious about India as a market !

PS: Look at the irony in all of this.....there are still 2.5K people looking to buy their products month after month, despite all the negativity that surrounds them ! Such is the strength of the product they have created, its not perfect.....not by any stretch of imagination ! But strong enough for so many to take the plunge. Makes you wonder how much FIAT could have achieved in India in the last 2 yrs, an oppurtunity squandered. Quite frankly, its hard to believe that in this day and age a legend of a company like FIAT would do this in an emerging economy.

I am pretty happy to see these figures despite the new launches and considering the fact that FIAT has hardly done anything to boost up the sales.
this proves one thing, there are people who love FIAT and they are in quite a number in India despite the past of FIAT! They will buy a FIAT no matter what!
However, I believe that ~30% people are new FIAT buyers out of there 2.1k odd people.

    Most interesting thing LINEA+PUNTO > CITY+JAZZ :D

Whatever Fiat is selling is now because of users like us !. It is creating a desire among the people who see these beauties plying on the road !!Fiat may be having a bigger plan for the service aspect as they dont want to mess up on that score with higher sales untill they can address that issue first. I am sure they may be as aware or as frustrated as us with the current monthly scores

So Honda's situation is more pathetic than Fiat considering the kind of dealer network and their long presence in India.
The petrol prices are rising. This is the time Fiat should make use of to move sales up to 4000+ .
