Nope, Honda/Toyota/Hyundai's share has remained same or dropped with some odd 1-2% gain/loss year on year. FCA is easily the biggest turn around in automotive history in such a short span of time. Thanks to FIAT who holds all the experience of the world in getting nearly bankrupt one year and doubling sales over next 2 yrs. They are made for each other. FIAT FAN or not, An automaker selling rougly 7,00,000 vehicle in a country but still getting bankrupt is nearly end of the world. What do you do to survive in such a market, only to expect a miracle. Next 3 yrs, sales is 2.5 fold with 1.6 million in 2013, is beyond belief. All loans paid out, Plants which were on the merge of closing with stench of death everywhere, After 3 yrs, same plants running in 3 shifts but still struggling to meet the demand. They are not selling potatoes dear... It's Automobile business which is a costly & most competitive affair and this turn around is enough to blow any analytic mind.
