I see the new honda city ARAI ratings are 17.8 for petrol and 26+ for diesel
My 2010 Jet delivers 16.7 for 2K drive with full load and luggage. New jet weight has been reduced these might deliver even better mileage.
FIAT should revisit the ARAI ratings and publish better figures. MJD is capable of 25+
Fiat is giving more realistic figures to their customers while marketing.
I think in general driving conditions ARIA figures does not make sense.
+1 cent to the realistic figure over ideal condition figure.

[h=1]Chrysler Pulls Back on Plan to Launch Jeep In India[/h]

Going by this trend, the Abarth too seems a distant dream unless Fiat plan to take the CKD route and assemble it locally to price it any sensibly.
Disappointed to hear this when the Indian rupee is appreciating against $$ and its around 61.5 (source RBI) now which is much better than the 68 and 66 one saw a few months back.
This article talks about the delay that has already happened as initial plan was to launch by last year end itself. It doesn't say clearly if more delay would happen or not. Encouraging part of the news is that Jeep is still committed to introducing its vehicles in India. Question is 'when'?
Jeep launch could possibly happen few months after New Linea is launched.
This is definitely bad news for the dealers who have setup fiat dealerships hoping on this!
I dont think this would affect any of the existing dealers, as the plan was to setup a new dealer network for Jeep and GC.
For existing dealers what more important is facelift linea, punto adventure and abarth.
